Handsome Indian cooking my Bak Chor Mee! Had a great breakfast at LINA Fishball Noodle 丽娜鱼圆面 this morning! Ordered my favourite mee tai mak with perfectly cooked meat, fishballs and fish dumpling. Took me a while to reply when Jeevan asked me, “要辣要醋吗?” His mandarin power 👍🏻 His brother helps out at the stall now and they take turns to cook. The sauce base had great flavour, but was definitely on the spicier side.

Solid bowl of fishball noodles with 5 golf ball fishballs - how not to love? Chao Zhou Fishball Noodle started in 1968 and is managed by a old couple. Their noodles are very springy with a good proportion of chilli and ketchup sauce which gives the noodles a well balanced flavour of sweet and savoury. Most importantly, for $3 you get not one, not two but 5 golf ball size fishballs. These fishballs tasted very fresh and it was bouncy and juicy. I really love their pork lard!
