Parish, a beautiful man in need. An action that came with an instant reaction, aiding a mute Grab driver simultaneously. 💚
When we called Parish to inform him of his approved request and that he may come over to our NGO to collect the provisions, he immediately informed us that since he had no money to take a Grab, he'd walk from Bukit Bintang to our place (Setapak).
While the distribution for the day began, and almost came to an end, we called him to check if he would be reaching soon. He informed us that he was still walking. Maa told him to stop, and proceeded to book a Grab for him. He arrived in less than a few minutes.
About moments ago, a donor passed a sum of cash to Maa for the #FromAMother project. When Parish arrived, Maa informed for the cash to be passed on over to Parish.
The Grab driver, silently looking at us load the items into her car for Parish, started showing signs with her hands. Little did we know, she is mute. Maa retrieved her details and gave her a set of provision. With tears rolling down her cheeks, she kept showing gestures of thank you and lovingly asked for a picture with Maa.
It is so beautiful how one act of kindness can change a person's life. Thank YOU, for supporting our project. We look to serve more.
#quaranTEAM has made a contribution of 5K on the 8th and the 9th of July, a sum of 10k, in the past 2 days for the #FromAMother project.

=================================
--------------------------------------------------
1) Sorry to keep you waiting.
✔「Sorry I've kept you waiting」でもOK。
<例文>
Did I keep you waiting?
I didn't mean to keep you waiting.
A: Hey, I hope I didn't keep you waiting.
B: Nope, I just got here a few minutes ago.
A: You're finally here! What took you so long?
B: I'm so sorry I've kept you waiting. I got caught in really bad traffic.
--------------------------------------------------
2) Thanks for waiting.
<例文>
Thanks for waiting. Did you wait long?
A: Hey Jesse! Thanks for waiting. It's so crowded today. It took me so long to find parking.
B: Yeah, I couldn't find parking either. I had to park in the residential area.

Larry Carlton Style - Triad Approach
https://youtu.be/lGFl9EVy7rI
Special thanks to Tim H (my new fan!) who sent his special package with money for my cds! This gift was so amazing! His friend Bob Cameron who took this amazing photo from live footage of Louis Armstrong in 1941! Incredible! I love it so much! Tim said "I thought you might like to have it in light of the fact that you are a fine musician in your own right." Wow! Thank you so much!!
Then I thanked him via email.. he wrote me back with more about Bob and Tim's life stories.
Then Tim wrote.... "Nevertheless, I really admire your skills as a performer as well as a teacher. Of all the teachers I have followed, you make the most sense to me personally."
""I am including a link to a video of Rick Beato with Larry Carlton. I saw Larry Carlton play a few years ago and he just blew me away. Since you are so into triads and base your understanding of soloing on them, I wanted to ask you to do a video on how Larry Carlton hears 3 triads above the one that is played... and then he improvises based on these 3 possibilities.
It's way over my head and I'll probably never "get it" as far as getting it under my fingers, but at least maybe I can intellectually understand it. Here is the video - 5 minutes in...

Anyway, maybe you can explain it better than they do.
Thanks,

So this video is replying to Tim's question. Although I didn't watch that video yet because I wanted to point out two approaches first as simple ideas. Hope Tim will enjoy this!

Ok ? here’s my mini-story on lower backs~long time ago (not soooo long, but long), my late grandmother would tell me to sit up straight, stop hunching your back, stop sitting in front of the TV watching cartoons all day - you’ll have backaches - mini-me, stubborn me - never listens.
Here I am today sharing a lower back yoga sequence cause - I sit a lot, more than moving a lot anyway, and all this sitting and hunching at my phone and laptop has definitely brought with it - lower back pains (and tight hips-but that’s not going to be in this video today). In any case, pain in the lower back can seriously affect your mood and your day.
So, the lower back is super important for us to maintain our posture, reduce stiffness and speed up the healing process. How do we protect and remove the tensions to get these benefits?
These yoga poses can offer great relief for the pain and provide great preventative care for the future. Here are a few yoga poses to ease lower back pain and relieve that dull sensation.
Sequence:
Centering: 3 minutes + include breathing practice of your choice
Warming Up: Surya Namaskar Classical or Surya Namaskar B, see my videos below for the Surya Namaskar options.
Classical Surya Namaskar: https://youtu.be/nfoPZsxH2wI
Surya Namaskar B: https://youtu.be/EIhePj7nX0s
Poses:
- Ragdoll
- Downward Facing Dog
- Child Pose
- Side stretch child pose
- Cat & Cow
- Thread the needle (both sides)
- Walking downward facing dog
- Twisted dog
- Spinx
- Seal
Cool Down:
- Supine Twist
- Savasana
Feel free to switch around the poses, add reps, longer breaths - get creative and make your own flows~feel free to also share with me your experience and flows.

I used pasta making machine Atlas 150 Marcato made in Italy 👍
https://amzn.to/2UwgtRy
3.5mm cutter roller is perfect but 6mm (which comes with the machine) is good, too.
https://amzn.to/2UAtidG
You need only 4 ingredients! Using a bread machine and a pasta maker machine, you can make silky-smooth and chewy Udon noodles in a minute!!! (Any bread machine is OK if it can knead)
FYI: Perfectly kneaded dough is the KEY to activate the gluten in the flour and gives the noodles the silky-smooth and chewy texture. This is why we used a bread machine. My mom used to make udon like this when we lived in Jordan many many years ago 😉Using hands or feet is pretty much a work if you want to serve udon quickly for family.
If you don't have a bread machine, you can put the dough in a plastic bag, wrap in a towel, and knead with your feet for about 5 minutes until smooth. If you use your hands (palms) it may take for about 15 minutes.
---------------------------------
Homemade Udon Noodles from Scratch
Difficulty: Very Easy
Time: 15min + 2hrs resting time
Number of servings: n/a
Ingredients
4 cups (500g) all purpose flour
1 cup (240ml) water
1 tbsp. salt
1 egg white
Directions:
((Using a machine))
1. Put all the ingredients in a bread machine and knead.
2. Place the dough in a plastic bag and rest for about 2 hours.
3. Divide it into 5, roll out the dough and put through the pasta maker machine at the dial to the widest setting (usually setting number 1). Feed it through the rollers.
4. Then begin rolling it thinner, by turning the dial to the next narrowest setting (most likely number 2).
5. Attach the noodle-cutting attachment to the pasta machine (3.5mm or 6mm is perfect for Udon), sprinkle the dough lightly with flour, and feed it into the cutting attachment.
6. Cook the Udon in boiling water for 10 minutes. Wash the noodles very well with running water if you want to serve cold Udon.
7. Serve the udon with shredded Nori seaweed sheet, wasabi, chopped onions, and Tsuyu (dipping sauce). You can also serve with Tempura! Yummy!
((by hands or feet))
1. Mix water and salt very well to make salted water.
2. Add water little by little then quickly mix with your hand until the dough crumbles. Make sure water is mixed evenly. When you see a lump, you want to crumble it.
3. Form it into a ball.
4. Knead the dough for 15 minutes using your palms, just like you make a bread, stretch the dough for a few times using your palms, fold it in half, turn it around (90C), and stretch again. Repeat and knead until smooth. You can put the dough in a plastic bag and step it on with your feet for 5 minutes, this allows you to get much more pressure on the dough to activate the gluten.
5. Put it in a plastic bag, rest the dough for 2 hours at a room temperature.
6. Roll out the dough into a thin rectangle, sprinkle lightly with flour, then fold it into thirds, slice it into 0.2 inch (5mm) or as you desire.
7. Cook the Udon in boiling water for 10 minutes. Wash the noodles very well with running water if you want to serve cold Udon.
8. Serve the udon with shredded Nori seaweed sheet, wasabi, chopped onions, and Tsuyu (dipping sauce). You can also serve with Tempura! Yummy!
((Udon Dashi))
Boil 600ml Dashi broth (made with Dashi powder is ok), 2 tsp. Soy sauce, 1 tbsp. Mirin (sweet Sake), ½ tsp. Salt in a pot.

Allen Iverson was one of 10 people elected for enshrinement into the Basketball Hall of Fame on Monday, and while the undersized scoring machine will always be remembered for his time with the Philadelphia 76ers, his legendary step-over on Tyronn Lue and his epic "practice" rant, there's probably one thing Iverson will never be remembered as: a Memphis Grizzlies player.
But facts are facts, and the fact is Iverson did play for the Grizzlies -- and those three games after signing as a free agent for the 2009-10 season make Iverson the holder of a rare bit of history. He will become the only Grizzlies player, whether Memphis or Vancouver, to be enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame.
Iverson's Grizzlies career was so short that we can look back on it game-by-game.
Nov. 2, 2009 - Grizzlies at Kings
Iverson came off the bench (for just the 10th time in his career) and scored 11 points in 18 minutes of action, but the Grizzlies fell to the Sacramento Kings 127-116 in overtime.
Nov. 4, 2009 - Grizzlies at Warriors
Iverson scored 18 points, the most in his Grizzlies career, and dished out a team-high seven assists. Despite the solid effort, the Grizzlies lost to the Golden State Warriors 113-105, giving a young Stephen Curry the first win of his career (the then-rookie scored seven points for Golden State that night).
Nov. 6, 2009 - Grizzlies at Lakers
Iverson's final game with the Grizzlies came against the team that had beaten him in the 2001 NBA Finals, and they handed him another loss on this night. Iverson scored eight points, while on the other side of the court, Kobe Bryant scored 41 for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Two days after the loss to the Lakers, Iverson took an indefinite leave of absence from the Grizzlies. He was waived a week later, temporarily retired in late November, then quickly unretired to re-sign with the Philadelphia 76ers, where he played the final 25 games of his career. Iverson's short stint with the Grizzlies is a forgettable blip in a remarkable career, and perhaps even more forgettable for Memphis fans, who never even got to see Iverson play a home game.
But Iverson's election to the Hall of Fame means the Grizzlies officially have a Hall of Famer. That leaves only two current NBA franchises who have never had a Hall of Famer play for them: the Minnesota Timberwolves (who'll get off this list a few years after Kevin Garnett finally retires) and the New Orleans Pelicans, who gave the Charlotte part of their history (and thus Hall of Famers Alonzo Mourning and Robert Parish) back to the Hornets two years ago.
