【英語師資培訓 • 公開課】以語言習得科學為本，用生命影響生命
「大多台灣的英文老師，都在不知道語言習得過程的狀況下，走進了教室。開始了一年又一年trial and error 的學習教學過程。」

✔︎ 台灣英語師培系統過去30年，因課程內容只對了真正在研究「語言學習過程」的第二語言習得 (SLA) 研究做了非常皮毛的「交代」，大多台灣的英文老師，都在不知道怎麼回答之下走進了教室，開始了一年又一年用trial and error 學習教學的過程。

➠ 知名語言學家 Ringbom 在 2007 年一篇 paper 裡也提及: "...we need to know enough about learning before we start making assumptions on the efficiency of teaching."
與哥大韓照紅教授修習 Second Language Acquisition (SLA)、SLA in the Classroom、Task-Based Language Instruction、Interlanguage Analysis、Advanced Second Language Acquisition 五門課 （與眾多博班生修習）外加實際眾多教學經驗、語言學習經驗後，我深深體會到對於 learners 和 learning 的認識，要在 teaching 之前。
因此我決定在創勝文教成立後的第5年，推出師培課程。
【培訓目標】
Participants are expected to develop an understanding of the importance of SLA research to second language instruction, an awareness of conditions conducive to instructed learning, and an ability to critically analyze classroom procedures.
【師培4大特色】
1️⃣ 你將在師培課程內閱讀世界頂尖期刊 Studies in Second Language Acquisition、Modern Language Journal、Language Teaching Research、TESOL Quarterly、Annual Review in Applied Linguistics、Applied Linguistics 等等，並在課程中和課外反思及討論這些「研究」和「教學」中的關係。(期刊文獻會由講師提供)
2️⃣ 課程將會鼓勵老師、或未來想要成為老師的學員，將學習和教學上所碰到的問題、狀況，拿出來討論。講師將以第二語言習得、應用語言學研究為本，提出參考解釋與解決方式，培養老師用 “scientific insights inform learning / teaching” 的終身受用能力。
3️⃣ 本課程的學員將接觸到各學派的大師的理論、觀點，對於語言習得過程的各種解釋，有最完整的認識。
