今天是聯合國 #國際糧食損失和浪費問題宣傳日！！

根據聯合國糧農組織(FAO)統計，全世界每年有3分之1、約13億噸的糧食被浪費掉，糧食損失與浪費造成自然資源的消耗與碳排放量的增加，加劇極端氣候。

在台灣，透過媒合網站、食物銀行以及惜福超市，從生產、製造到消費，我們在解決糧食損失與浪費走在前端，實踐了聯合國「永續發展目標（SDGs）」第12項目標「確保永續的消費與生產模式」以及第2項目標「消除飢餓，達成糧食安全，改善營養及促進永續農業」。

台灣是實踐聯合國永續發展目標的模範生，我們希望透過這部影片，呼應聯合國「國際糧食損失與浪費問題宣傳日」，減少糧食浪費，就從你我做起。

Do you know what today is? It’s the UN International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste! According to statistics from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, around a third of food around the world goes to waste every year; that’s around 1.3 billion tonnes! This also means extra carbon emissions and depletion of natural resources, contributing to #ClimateChange.

#Taiwan has come up with a whole host of innovative ideas to reduce food loss from upstream producers, all the way down to the consumer. Check out the video below to find out more about one such initiative, websites which facilitate the distribution of surplus agricultural produce from farmers and supermarkets to people in remote areas and vulnerable groups through food banks.

This initiative is in line with both #SDG2 #ZeroHunger and #SDG12 #ResponsibleConsumptionAndProduction and we hope that by 2030 food waste by consumers can be reduced by 50% as well as reducing food loss in supply chains.

Taiwan’s vision of global partnership on the issue of #FoodWaste can serve as a reference for the UN in attaining the SDGs!

In Taiwan last year, there were 3.01 million single-person households, exceeding the 2.54 million households with nuclear families, according to Ministry of the Interior statistics.
　
If one adds the 860,000 single-parent households (about 2.17 million people) and the 160,000 grandparent-headed households (about 550,000 people), there are in total nearly 6 million people in high-risk families in Taiwan.

Japanese tourists who travel abroad seem to start glancing back to the Island of the Gods as a vacation spot while looking for inner peace and comfort.

"Japanese tourists seem to be starting to revive Bali as a vacation spot, especially for young people as well as the elderly," Tourism Observer Tjokorda Gde Agung said here on Wednesday.

According to the records of the Central Bureau of Statistics of Bali, Japanese tourists who came directly from their country to Bali during October 2012 were 17,845 people, up 26.8 percent, compared to the same period in 2011 with only 14,064 people.

An increase in the number of visits, the Japanese tourists who travel to the Island of the Gods during January-October 2012 as many as 155,519 people is almost the same as the same period in 2011 only 155,837 people.

Starting to stabilize Japanese tourists to Bali, tourism actors should continue to try to improve their best image for Japanese people, so that tourists from the country of the Rising Sun want to return to travel to the Island of the Gods.

Promotion of tourism about arts and culture and other activities of the Balinese people must continue to be done, both through brochures and videos to Japan to ensure that the Island of the Gods is safe and comfortable to visit. 海外旅行をする日本人観光客は、心の安らぎと安らぎを求めながら、神々の島を休暇のスポットとして振り返り始めているようです。

バリ中央統計局の記録によると、2012年10月に自国から直接バリ島に来た日本人観光客は、17,845人で、2011年の同時期と比べて26.8％増加しました。

2012年1月から10月にかけて神の島を訪れる日本人観光客の数が155,519人と増加し、2011年の同時期とほぼ同じ155,837人に過ぎません。

日本人観光客をバリ島に安定させ始めた観光アクターは、ライジングサンの国からの観光客が神の島への旅行に戻りたくなるように、日本人にとって最高のイメージを改善する努力を続ける必要があります。

神話の島が安全で快適に訪れることができるように、パンフレットやビデオを通じて日本への芸術や文化、その他のバリの人々の活動に関する観光の振興を続けていく必要があります。
