大家期待已久，另一個一線電視品牌「罪大」Sony 2021 年的新電視系列 BRAVIA XR，終於正式在港登場！在 BRAVIA 系列名稱加入「XR」，亦標誌著 Sony 電視進入全新一頁：植入全球首個 CI 認知智能處理引擎「XR」，當中兩個 Master Series Z9J 8K LED LCD TV 及 A90J 4K OLED TV，聯同 A80J OLED、X95J 及 X90J 4K LED LCD TV﹐均會搭載這款 Sony 最新的處理引擎及取獲 IMAX Enhanced 認證，提供尺寸如下：

。Z9J MASTER Series 8K LED LCD TV：85 吋、75 吋，日本製造
。A90J MASTER Series 4K OLED TV：55 吋、65 吋，日本製造
。A80J 4K OLED TV，55 吋、65 吋、77 吋
。X95J 4K LED LCD TV，65 吋，支援 X-Wide Angle 寬廣可視角度技術，日本製造
。X90J 4K LED LCD TV，50 吋、55 吋、65 吋、75 吋，全陣列背光系統，日本製造

今次 Sony 號稱全球首款認知智能電視，究竟與之前的 AI 人工智能有何分別？在影像上，BRAVIA XR 引擎會將一個畫面橫向切割成多個分區，並即時持續偵測畫面有何主體物件，而畫面同時又會縱向分成多層元素，包括顏色、銳利度、對比度、動作、焦點等，然後作交叉分析，並針對畫面中焦點，將之設定成最佳效果去呈現畫面，過程中會包括數以萬計的運算，而做法亦以模擬人類感知、體驗及記憶方式進行，目的就是令電視機以「人類眼睛觀看事物」的模式，去呈現每一個畫面。

而呈現畫面期間，就會針對顏色、對比度、細節同流暢度有相應的提升功能，例如 XR Triluminos Pro、XR Contrast Booster、XR Upscaling 8K 、XR Motion Clarity 等等。

而聲音上 BRAVIA XR 引擎亦會有所發揮，由於此引擎運算能力再度強化，因此就會採用「XR Sound Position」概念，能夠在處理聲音訊號過程更精準地維持訊號原生狀態，並且透過 OLED TV 的 Acoustic Surface Audio+，或者 LED LCD TV 之 Acoustic Multi-Audio 技術，令到聲音能夠有真正源自屏幕輸出而非喇叭單元的效果，呈現更真實自然的聲音。而 BRAVIA XR 系列電視亦會植入 3D Surround Upscaling 功能，可以將傳統 5.1 甚至兩聲道訊源，向上模擬轉換成 5.1.2 架構的 Dolby Atmos 三維環繞聲效果。

至於入門系列 X85J 及 X80J，均會提供 43 吋、50 吋、55 吋、65 吋及 75 吋型號，而 X85J 則會再多一款 85 吋大尺寸選擇。兩個系列均會採用 X1 影像處理引擎，兩者最大分別在於 X85J 與所有 BRAVIA XR 系列一樣為原生 120Hz 更新率面板，設有兩組支援 4K/120p 訊號及 ALLM 輸入之 HDMI 2.1 端子，而 VRR 功能亦會在未來透過韌體更新追加支援。另外，2021 年所有 BRAVIA TV，亦會改用Google TV 作業系統。
