以美式加州風格起家的 Band of Outsiders，在 2017 年度重新開始，更換了有 Savile Row 薩佛街傳統訂製服經驗的 Angelo Van Mol 為設計師，期望能再次帶給大家美式輕鬆的學院風格。

在 2019 春夏實在 Pitti Uomo 以黃色校車搭配印花概念驚艷全場，而今年的 Band of Outsiders 則是以 90 年代登月為靈感推出一系列的復古系列，精裁的襯衫搭配飛行夾克，印有登月的圓領衫和火箭印花更是本次秋冬的亮點之一！

上個星期六，爵士樂的節奏溫暖了金門的凍人夜晚。無畏破紀錄低溫與滂沱大雨，超過八十位金門鄉親扶老攜幼前來清金門鎮總兵署，欣賞由美國爵士鋼琴家Angelo Versace, 鼓手Chris Wabich, 爵士美聲Jennifer Ing,與台灣薩克斯風手李承育、貝斯手謝智揚呈現的爵士風師爺音樂會。感謝所有的演出者與熱情的金門觀眾，共同創造這個超棒的夜晚! 與大家分享當天晚上的安可曲 "Confirmation"。
Last Saturday, hot jazz grooves warmed up a chilly Kinmen night. Despite record low temperatures and heavy rain, more than 80 passionate music lovers of all ages joined us outdoors for Kinmen Jazz Night at the historic Kinmen Qing Dynasty Military Headquarters. The show featured Angelo Versace (piano), Chris Wabich (drums), Jennifer Ing (vocals), Jimmy Lee (saxophone), and Hsieh Chih-Yang (bass). I came across an old song of mine, circa 2002.
This song was my anthem thru out my school years and this band has influenced a generation of musicians like myself. Not only they were musicians , they were just great people! PERIOD!

To the deadly duo guitar gods that roamed the earth (in my POV ) ah Ze and 老爺 John .
To the solid low end bass frequency that holds the band together , sounding like a freight train coming at you at 500 miles an hour —-
Angelo aka Angela.
Their sound was so big, So technical and musical , little did we know we were in the presence of living legends. Finally, to top it off was his sultry , husky rock pipes that sounded like heaven , but has been to the depths of hell and back.... as soon as he sang,with such command , and authority, his voice would tear the roof off of any venue they were playing at .
His image always mystique, his presence intimidating yet when he spoke , is the most gentle , sweet and kind person You could ever met. When he’s looking at you, his eyes almost pierces thru you as if he knows all your secrets..... and at age 14(me), he was the Robert Plant before i even knew who Led zeppelin was..... his name......
Lawrence Lei. The one and only ....(may he RIP)
This was a song he wrote and sang for his brother......
It is a true honor to call these wonderful people uncles and after puberty , my friends.
