My company wants to share my story to their page in English. so there is the English version, hope you can find some inspiration.
Back in 2012, I had a long break without exercise. The most exciting thing I could ever share with my friends was simply a dream on my bucket list - to complete in a once-in-a-lifetime marathon. Back then, all my friends constantly told me to lose weight but I just didn't find the urgency to do so until I saw the photo of me in sunglasses - I could not even recognize myself! I asked myself: is this what I want for the rest of my life and is this the example I want to set for my kids?
From that point on, I started running again. Nine months later, I finally finished my first marathon in Macau. Even though my body was cramping all over, a voice exclaimed inside of me: "I am finally back on track!"
A month later, I was on a vacation in Japan with my wife. In a coffee shop, I saw a poster… and I made a decision which eventually changed my life: I registered for the Hokkaido Ironman Distance Triathlon race! (3.8Km Swim + 180km Cycling + 42km Running) I only had seven months to prepare!
I’ve never had any road-cycling experience, but along the way, I was lucky to have met a team of triathlon gurus who helped me with some basic cycling skills. As for swimming, I hired a swimming coach to point out the issues with my techniques. As a full-time fitness instructor and a father of two, it was very difficult to set aside an extra 12-18 hours a week for training. During this period, I have come to understand the quote: "Nobody is ever too busy. If they care, they will make time."
I finally completed Ironman Japan in Aug 2014 and Ironman Taiwan in Apr 2015. During the practice, I got held up by my ankle injury from high-school basketball. I realized that I must get it sorted out if I still want to train for Ironman, so I went for an operation in Aug 2015. During the recovery, since I could still train my upper-body, an idea suddenly sprung up my mind: why not postpone my Ironman training for a year and try out a bodybuilding competition!?
They are completely opposite fields: one is cardiovascular endurance training while the other is muscle strengthening and hypertrophy training. There are still four more months to go before the contest – let’s see how far I can get!

Just like they did so many times when Larry Brown was their coach, the Philadelphia 76ers turned to their defense to bail them out.
Allen Iverson missed 14 of his first 18 shots, including a breakaway layup, but finished with 24 points to lead the Sixers to an 87-85 victory over the Boston Celtics on Friday night.
Paul Pierce scored 33 and Vin Baker had 22 for the Celtics, who have lost three straight and four of five.
The Sixers held Boston to just 27.8 percent shooting (10-for-36) in the second half, erasing a nine-point halftime deficit.
"We got a little more defensive and really started to contest shots," first-year coach Randy Ayers said. "We did a solid job at that end of the floor."
The Sixers, again playing without Glenn Robinson (ankle) and Derrick Coleman (knee), have won two straight for just the second time this season.
Kenny Thomas had 14 points and 12 rebounds and Marc Jackson had 12 points and nine rebounds in Robinson's spot.
Pierce scored eight straight points on a dunk and consecutive 3-pointers as Boston tied it at 83 with 1:28 left. Aaron McKie answered with a jumper to give the Sixers an 85-83 lead with 1:05 to go, and a swarming defense forced a shot clock violation of Boston's next possession.
After Iverson missed a driving layup, Walter McCarty missed a 3-pointer with 9.5 seconds left. Iverson then iced it with two free throws.
"That's what we're trying to get to, play gritty, blue-collar basketball," McKie said. "If we can do that, we can have a good defensive team."
Iverson, back after missing one game with a knee injury, made four of his last five shots and finished 8-for-25. He had a team-high eight assists.
He missed a wide-open layup in the third quarter when it appeared he couldn't decide whether to dunk or lay it in. A minute later, Iverson made a dunk on a fast break.
The Celtics were coming off a loss to New Orleans on Wednesday in which they scored a season-low 73 points. They had 66 points through three quarters, but missed 16 of 24 shots in the fourth quarter.
"Our offense stopped in the second half," Celtics coach Jim O'Brien said. "We have to play the brand of basketball we've been playing in first halves. I can't figure it out."
After a basket by Baker gave the Celtics a 68-65 lead to start the fourth, the Sixers went on an 8-0 run and didn't trail again. Iverson hit a 3-pointer to tie it and a jumper for a 71-68 lead.
Consecutive fast-break layups by McKie and Iverson extended Philadelphia's lead to 83-75.
The Celtics took their biggest lead, 51-39, on a jumper by Pierce that capped a 12-4 run with 7.5 seconds left in the first half. John Salmons answered with his second straight 3-pointer right before the buzzer to cut it to 51-42.
"I really don't understand it," Pierce said. "Some way, somehow we play good first halves and then, in the third quarter, we start to let teams back into games. We are not playing with a sense of urgency for the whole 48 minutes."
Game notes
Through the first 12 games, Boston has not been involved in a game in which 100 points were scored -- the longest such streak for the Celtics since the start of the 1953-54 season. ... Robinson has missed nine games with a sprained left ankle. Coleman has missed five with a strained left knee. ... The Sixers have won 16 of their last 21 games against Boston. ... Eric Snow is the only Sixers player to start all 13 games.

Among the best things to happen to the NBA in the offseason: Allen Iverson and Gilbert Arenas ended up in the same division.
Two of the quickest guards in the NBA get to face each other four times this season, and the next three will be red-letter days if they go anything like the first. Iverson scored 40 points, while Arenas had 36 in the Philadelphia 76ers' 112-105 victory over the Washington Wizards on Tuesday.
"That's what it's all about. That's the realness of this league," Iverson said. "That's what makes this league so special because you have guys on every team that's capable of making big things happen on any given night.
"That's what he was able to do tonight. He played well. He played within himself and his teammates did a good job feeding off him. It was good for us they just couldn't pull it out."
The scoring duel started in the first quarter -- Arenas had 18 points, Iverson 15 -- and it stayed as tight as the score itself until the 76ers pulled away in the final two minutes.
Iverson had more than his share of wild misses -- he was 12-for-29 from the field -- but he never stopped shooting. He also made 14 of 18 free throws, and the 76ers went 24-for-26 from the line in the second half.
Arenas was 11-for-24 from the field and had 10 assists, but made just 3 of 11 shots in the second half and fouled out with seven seconds to play. He was 9-for-14 from the line, including two key misses in the final two minutes.
"It was physical out there," Arenas said. "They know how to play physical, and they showed us."
The 76ers played without starters Glenn Robinson (sprained ankle) and Kenny Thomas (bruised back), and Derrick Coleman didn't play the second half because of the strained left knee that has bothered him all season. Samuel Dalembert picked up the slack for Coleman, finishing with a career-high nine rebounds and 10 points.
Iverson's acrobatic driving layup put the 76ers up 94-87 with 6{ minutes to play, but Arenas' steal and dunk soon cut the lead to four. Iverson scored four points in a 6-0 run to get the lead to 10, but Arenas' 3-pointer pulled the Wizards within three with 2:50 to play.
In the final two minutes, Iverson had a nice alley-oop pass to Dalembert and whiffed on a reverse layup on a fast break. Arenas missed two of four free throws, leaving the Wizards down by three with 1:19 to go. Two free throws by Marc Jackson and Eric Snow's alley-oop to Dalembert put the game out of reach.
Arenas and Iverson were thrilling all game. Arenas made a 3-pointer, a driving layup and a jumper off a screen as the Wizards jumped to a 12-2 lead. Iverson responded with a 3-pointer, a pair of free throws and a steal-and-dunk to get the 76ers within one.
Both stayed hot, but Arenas got the last word in the first quarter with a 28-foot bank shot at the buzzer that gave Washington a 31-25 lead. Iverson's 3-pointer tied the game at 46 in the second quarter, but it was answered immediately by a 3 from Arenas. Arenas fed Jarvis Hayes for a breakaway dunk just before the first-half buzzer to send Washington into the locker room ahead 57-50.
But Iverson scored seven straight points, including a desperation jumper at the shot-clock buzzer, in a quarter-ending 7-2 run that put Philadelphia ahead 82-80 going into the fourth.
"Even though they're short-handed, they play tough, gritty, desire-type basketball," Washington coach Eddie Jordan said. "We play that for the most part, but they've got it down. We'd like to get to that point. ... Gilbert, he was at the highest level tonight. He showed some emotions. If he keeps playing like that, that's what we need."
Game notes
Washington forward Jerry Stackhouse will see a specialist in New York on Friday for an update on his ailing knee. Stackhouse, who hasn't played this season, still doesn't have a timetable for his return. ... Robinson has missed four games this season, while Thomas sat out his second in a row. ... The 76ers have won six straight against the Wizards.
