TAKTOPIA will be holding a series of winter teaching camps around Japan this December and January! These camps are intended to give Japanese high school (and junior high school) students a flavour of liberal learning and more over a different feel for education.
Camp dates:
- Camp 1 December 25 to 27 in Yamanashi
- Camp 2 December 27 to 29 in Yamanashi
- Camp 3 January 4 to 6 in Osaka
- Camp 4 January 6 to 8 in Kyoto
(2 camps for each global students)
TAKTOPIA will cover the expenses as mentioned below in detail:
- Flight ticket: TAKTOPIA will cover the flight ticket up to US$1,000
- Transportation from the airport to the venue, from the venue to the hotel or homestay.
- Food (most meals are served at the venue or homestay), if not TAKTOPIA will provide 1,000 yen for lunch, 300 yen for daily drink
- Accommodation (homestay or hostel)
Tasks for the selected global students
- Keep in contact with TAKTOPIA interns
- Make 30 minutes lesson plans according to the requests from TAKTOPIA
- Make a 10 minute culture speech for the global talk session
- Fill out the profile sheet TAKTOPIA will provide
