最近這幾天，大家應該都看過比爾蓋茲聯手巴菲特建新型核電廠的新聞了。這樣的一個里程碑絕對不只因為比爾蓋茲很有錢，背後當然也有賴政府與諸多法案的支持。
近年美國國會積極推動核能的相關法案，不少都獲得了兩黨共識，也都有了一定成果，其中 Nuclear Energy Leadership Act (核能領導地位法)的提出，意在確保美國不落後於近年中俄的核能研發與技術輸出的競賽，並積極推廣先進核能的研發以及協助先進核能得以順利在美國建廠，此法案已經於去年通過。
而提出這項法案的聯署名單中，剛好有三名參議員在今天來台灣了，分別是 Tammy Duckworth, Dan Sullivan 及 Chris Coons。 Duckworth 的選區伊利諾州是核電大洲，這一兩個禮拜大概都在談要不要對核能延役提出補貼，她本人在協助伊利諾的核廢處理廠的社區溝通上也有一定經驗；而Chris Coons參議員代表的德拉瓦州沒有核電廠，但他也積極為核電延役奔走，因為德拉瓦的用電常常需要隔壁的紐澤西支援，而隔壁的紐澤西剛好也是核電大洲，他於前年提出Nuclear Energy Renewal Act(核能更新法)，希望可以透過此法案撥補預算，協助核電廠的延役在市場上取得競爭力。
除了感謝這三位參議員為了民主價值奔走，帶來好多疫苗外 QQQ，當然，更得感謝他們為了潔淨能源奔走所付出的努力，希望未來能有更多合作機會。

It's been almost a year since I've seen my mom in person. My whole life I've always considered myself as a mama's boy and somewhat of a rebel as well in some cases. I've always felt that my mom was trying her best all the time ever since I was born to be the best mom she could be for me and my brother. (deng writing till this point kinda makes me tear up a bit)
Even till now, I'm 23 this year and she's still finding her ways to get close to me, making sure that I'm doing great in all aspects of my life. I will definitely say, I thank God for giving me such an amazing mom. Someone who does it all, and would stop at nothing to make sure that I'm doing great in my life.
Words can't describe how much I appreciate the effort and love my mom has given me. And I do pray and hope that I can do the same for her, to the people around me and to the world.
Mom's are truly awesome. And my mom is the most awesome one in my heart. I love you so much mummy, really hope to see you soon.
P.S. I've actually teared up while writing this. I guess writing it down really made me realise how hard it must have been for my mom to raise me and my brother. And it made me realise how little i've done for my mom and I should definitely do more.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! This year, I couldn’t go back to Japan so I decided to cook Osechi for myself and my Singaporean family.
Osechi is traditional Japanese New Year Food eaten by most families every year on January 1st. Every food has a meaning and oh god, it takes so much time and effort to cook all of these! No wonder many Japanese families are starting to rely on cooked osechi, normally costing around 180 to 400USD.
So how did my Singaporean family react? Watch till the end to find out.

10年真的不短，很遗憾无法一起走到最后。
求婚了，却早已错过应该发生的时间点。
面对瓶颈考验的爱情在挽救期中感性被理性打败了，写下句号。

10 years long run coming to an end, for sure it’s really hurt and sad.
But we’ll promise to bring along all happy memories and place each other at a special point in our heart. You will always be a person that I care about.
Lastly, sharing out the song I wrote for her 10 years ago, and it’s being re-produced again into a 10th year anniversary version for my proposal purpose. The MV are made by all key moments we been through together. Although my proposal failed, but we do think it’s a best way to conclude and remember those 10 years, from the beginning to the end. Love actually is just you & me, but we decided to explain about this to avoid any assumptions as we got too many mutual friends. Thanks to all lovely wishes for the past 10 years. When you see this post, I believe our relationship status on FB had changed.
