Wait for the Right Time for the Best Outcome
“The little one will become a thousand, and the small one a strong nation. I, Yahweh, will do this quickly in its time.”” (Isaiah 60:22 WEB)
Have you ever played a video/arcade game whereby you have to wait and press the button at the right time to earn the most points?
It may appear as a pointer bouncing from left to right and you have to catch it just as it hits the midpoint of the meter.
My daughter was playing such a game at the arcade and the first time she played it, she was so eager to push the button, but I repeatedly taught her to wait until the pointer is aligned with the correct spot.
Why did I tell her to wait? Because I wanted her to get the best possible outcome.
I knew if she pressed it too early, she would get zero points.
Sometimes we get so eager to have God’s blessings that we forget that He knows exactly when is the right moment to result in the best outcome—He is the all-knowing God whereas we are the not-knowing humans.
If you trust Him that His plans are always for your good, you’ll stop demanding the miracle at your own timing and surrender to His timing and His way of manifestation.
Let’s say the blessing came exactly when you asked for it when it’s not the best time to give it to you.
That blessing may end up harming you if the timing is not right.
God wants to bless you and before He allows it to manifest, He will make sure that it’s safe for you.
Would you hand your 3 year old child a knife to to cut vegetables and be a master chef?
I wouldn’t, because I feel that the child isn’t ready to handle the tool safely yet.
However, do I want to allow my child to learn to cook well if she has a heart to learn?
Yes I do, but at the right time, when it’s safe and appropriate for her.
Trust Jesus! He knows your heart, He knows that you’re waiting and excited.
Imagine Him saying to you, “Dearly beloved, at the right time, I will surely and quickly make it happen.”
