Celebration of the Father
“Behold, two of them were going that very day to a village named Emmaus, which was sixty stadia from Jerusalem. They talked with each other about all of these things which had happened. While they talked and questioned together, Jesus himself came near, and went with them. But their eyes were kept from recognizing him. He said to them, “What are you talking about as you walk, and are sad?” One of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only stranger in Jerusalem who doesn’t know the things which have happened there in these days?” He said to them, “Foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Didn’t the Christ have to suffer these things and to enter into his glory?” Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. They said to one another, “Weren’t our hearts burning within us, while he spoke to us along the way, and while he opened the Scriptures to us?” They rose up that very hour, returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and those who were with them, saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!”” (Luke 24:13-18, 25-27, 32-34 WEB)
Did you ever wonder why out of the two disciples on the road to Emmaus, only one of them was named while the other remained anonymous?
Therefore, I believe that the name “Cleopas” is crucial to understanding the significance of this passage.
Cleopas is an abbreviated form of the name Cleopatros, made of the two Greek words “kleos” (to celebrate) and pater (father). Cleopas means “celebration of the father”.
Let us see what Jesus did in the passage. He told the two discouraged disciples all about the things concerning Himself in the Old Testament Scriptures, and how He fulfilled them all at the cross.
It was a celebration of the Father, praising Him for His glorious plan of salvation that was once hidden and is now revealed through the prophets, apostles, and the other writers of the Scriptures.
When Jesus celebrated the Father with the two disciples, their hearts “burned”, likely with faith, hope, and love in response to the love and grace of God. They experienced an “Emmaus” (meaning: hot springs) in their hearts, washing away the unbelief and refreshing their spirits.
They were no longer depressed and despondent. Instead, they were filled with hope, and energized in their bodies and souls. Having just walked a long way from Jerusalem to Emmaus, they immediately set off on a journey back to announce the good news they had seen and heard.
This world needs “Cleopas”—a celebration of the Father. They need to hear about a Father God who is gracious and full of love, who freely offers salvation through Jesus Christ His Son. They need to hear that He wants to be a Father near to them and not a Judge far off; that He is reconciling the world to Himself through Jesus, welcoming them home.
“But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation; namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation. We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:18-21 WEB)
Anytime you are feeling down, you can initiate a celebration of the Father. It will cleanse you from unbelief, refresh your spirit, fill your heart with hope, and energize your body and soul!

Topic: Struggling with Stress Eating
This was me 7 days ago
I resisted eating like a mad dog for 5 days after my recent F Up, but sadly I just repeated another stress eating, finished devouring so much fast food all under 5-10 min
I shot this pic to remind myself that I fk up again…
Normally my instinct is to Go to the Gym & Lift
But this time I didn’t do that, instead I just ate like a mad man again who looked like he hasn’t eaten for 45 days
And I’ve faced this episode - many many times
This was one of those things I know that if I kept doing, it’s just gonna end up really bad for myself
And the truth is, I wasn’t willing to deal with the stress at the time and kept holding on to it, ending in another terrible binge eat that made me felt depressed & pissed off about myself
It was a downward spiral as I started to depend on Food more than ever - Not for energy & health purpose but more towards mental temporary relief
And I had enough
Enough of the BS I tell myself - that it’s okay to just eat and enjoy the moment
Enough of Stress Eating - it’s time to earn back self control & discipline
It starts now
I’m sharing this, not to gain pity, but because I know how fkn hard stress eating messes up my body and I didn’t know whom to talk to - because normally it’s people who reached out to me!
I felt ashamed as I tell people to show up and keep the fire burning, but my own fire is being put off by myself
Whatever my personal reasons are - it is not an excuse to keep fking up, and that’s why I’m sharing this publicly to hold myself accountable to all of you, and to commit to a Plan
I don’t believe in perfection - but I believe in owning up to my shit & to take full control to transform into the Beast I know I am Capable of being
I hope this simple sharing can give some of you who struggle with the same problem - some courage & energy to change something for the better
I know it’s tough af, but you’re not alone and that you can be in control, as long as you’re willing to put in the effort 🔥
We are in this together - Let’s do this 💯

Light in your Whole Body
““No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a cellar or under a basket, but on a stand, that those who come in may see the light. The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body is also full of light; but when it is evil, your body also is full of darkness. Therefore see whether the light that is in you isn’t darkness. If therefore your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, it will be wholly full of light, as when the lamp with its bright shining gives you light.”” (Luke 11:33-36 WEB)
Your eyes are like lamps and your body is like a room.
In a modern context, imagine that your eyes are like a ceiling light that you can switch on.
When you watch, read, and look at good things, you are allowing light to fill your body.
On the other hand, when you keep focusing on negative materials that produce fear, stress, worry, or any such thing, your body will be full of darkness.
The effect of such things is that you will feel lethargic, depressed, weak, and even experience mental or physical ailments (such as headaches).
When your body is filled with darkness, it means that you will experience death related effects like sickness, aging, ugliness, and even physical death.
The flip side is also true: if you focus on good things, like on God’s word and on Jesus, you will experience the benefits of light in your body: healing, health, youth renewal, added beauty, and long life.
If you want to stop physical aging in its tracks, you must receive a daily infusion of life. Feed on God’s word every day—even a little bit is good. Meditate on a piece of Scripture and ask the Holy Spirit to open your understanding to it. Ask Him to show you revelations about Jesus in the Word, and you will be transformed as you behold Him.
“My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.” (Proverbs 4:20-23 WEB)
God’s word is light and life to your whole body. What you receive through your eyes and ears will reach your heart if you accept it. Guard your heart—it contains your belief system, which affects what you do and experience in life.
Receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ with gladness. You will be strengthened from the inside-out!

Violin cover by Lin Tzu An of Asuka and Cicada (Fei Niao He Chan) by Ren Ran

Any encore for today's concert in Taipei?
Yah, I know you want more for my music tonight, so here comes the cover 😉
Though it's a song about the doomed separation and no happy ending at all, I do not mean to keep everyone sad!
There is no painless separation, and there are too many ways to say good bye to each other even we try damn hard to stop such goodbye. But if we all know that saying good bye is the destination, and that the rules of the world are so cruel, at least we can say goodbye in a good way, maybe? Try to remember the best last moment before turning our heads away.
2020 is a year that makes many people feel depressed. "Live in the moment and cherish everything" is such a cliche, but I still believe it has its own meaning for everyone.
Hope everyone can take care of themselves, from the outside in, and then from the inside out, cherish and enjoy yourself in every moment. Try to face and hug unexpected surprise in the life as it is and become the one and only limited edition happiness for someone in your best status.

be depressed about 在 umino ASMR Youtube 的最佳解答
Hello, I am umino.Thank you for watching this video. This description uses Google Translate.
This video is a depth ear pick using sand slime. I think the amount of sand in the slime was fairly large, so I think it became a lot of trouble. When the amount of sand is small, the sound becomes gritty with a large amount of water. The point is that the sand is colored, which is unusual for me. It's usually plain, but... what happened?
I haven't used slime so far, but when I made it myself after a long time, it was so interesting that I also shot depth earpicks. I made a few other videos in bulk, but I don't know when I can post them.
Although I made my own slime and I was a little addicted to it, sadly the summer has come. Why should it be summer? I don't shoot in summer. The reason is that the bugs are noisy. If slime fever continues until autumn, I will shoot again... When I made my slime a few years ago, I didn't have many tools, but this time I prepared a lot, so I think I'll probably make one. If you don't make it, the materials will be useless.
I will continue to use the stories I used in the radio chat. What to do about that topic, what to do when you are depressed. Recently, I think there are many chances of depression because of the virus. Especially during the self-restraint period, many people are stressed because they can't leave their homes, events are destroyed, and they can't meet friends. (Why I didn't talk at that time.) (In Japan, there was a mystery limitation to refrain from going out. I think it's difficult to understand.)
So what do you do? The quickest strategy is to sleep and forget. Depending on the degree of depression, I think there are many things out there that solve the time. So I sleep on the day when I'm depressed. It's not mental, let's recover from physical. If you fall asleep right after you get home and can't sleep at night, watch your favorite works or YouTuber until you're sleepy. On that point, there are a lot of subscription services these days, so it doesn't bother me. I think it's good to watch the ASMR video and forcibly sleep. (Advertising without hiding)
What I personally do is force me away from depressed things. Especially when you make a mistake, you cannot go back to the past. When I have bad news, I try not to look online. On the contrary, it is meaningless to be aware of that in the process of leaving, so it is not suitable for people who cannot switch.
Probably there are many students reading this, but I think it's better to be careful about your capacity when you are depressed by the behavior of your friends. I often see troubles with friends, but if I have troubles that are unlikely to be solved, there is a chance that I can escape, so it is better to think about how to deal with them. I don't really recommend running away from the beginning, but there's nothing wrong with running away as a result of facing each other. It is quite difficult when you have trouble with your teacher. It is almost impossible to change the behavior of the other person. Then you can think like, "This person is this kind of person." If you lower the hurdle even a little, the damage may be reduced even if it is not accepted.

Kaya isinusulong mo na Hindi ito gawing biro and to wake up people, break the stigma and make a change dahil Hindi nangangahulugan na may ganito Kang sakit ay ibig sabihin baliw, over acting, walang pananampalataya, gumagawa Ng kwento, papansin Kaya deneclare na depress sila.Matuto tayong makinig dahil Hindi Po pare pareho Ang self esteem Ng isang Tao meron na kayang maging positive all the time na kayang lampasan Ang mga problemaa meron ding mga Tao na kailangan talaga Ng tulong..This is really not a joke because it is between life surviving and death..marami na tayong naririnig at nababasa Lalo na sa mga kabataan na winawakasan Ang kanilang sariling buhay..Kaya nandito si kuya Macky Ang unang hakbang upang wakasan Ang suliraning ito at e treat Ng Tama Ang depression upang matulungan tayo agad.Ipinapaunawa nya sa atin na Depression maybe his diagnosis but it will never defined him and will never change the fact that he can do something to be happy again at lumalaban sa agos Ng buhay and choosing to be happy.❤️❤️❤️

#DepressionIsNotAJoke
Being depressed is not funny. And it's not something you should make fun of. Mahirap, sobrang hirap magkaroon ng depresyon. You'll never know the pain and the hardship that depressed people are facing. And you'll never know what they are thinking. You'll never know it unless you, yourself, experienced it. Lagi nilang sinasabi na 'depression lang yan' but no, depression is more than 'lang'. It is deeper than we think. We must teach this generation a right value. Dahil karamihan sa kabataan ngayon ay mapupusok, they sre not thinking for the consequences of their actions. Mas nauuna ang pabida, kesa ang tamang asal. Most of the people are surviving rather than living. Depression is not an easy battle. It takes a lot of courage to fight for it. So instead of criticizing them, support them. Help them to survive. Help them to see the light in their darkest life. Let's help them to see the beauty of world. Instead of making fun of them, make them laugh. Tulungan natin silang umangat. Let's teach them how to laugh and how to smile. It's not easy, but I know, together, we will able to show the world that we can fight depression. Let's make a move! Together, we will break the stigma!
