Finally, 400K Subscribers. It's been a long way! We're really sorry we couldn't celebrate by doing recital, concert or fans event due to the coronavirus issues. Still, we prepared this special video for you, hope you like it.

I've played them a lot at live streaming, but I rarely do videos for Studio Ghibli Animations. Not because I don't like it, it's just because there were too many covers already on YouTube. So I think this time it's a good opportunity to make it a medley with a different style of video, adding some words I'd like to say to you, hope you like this video.

As many of you might know, maybe it's the change of time, or change of the algorithm, change of YouTube, musicians on YouTube lives much harder than 4 or 5 years ago. We all have to find another way out to keep living. So in the past few month we've been working on streaming platforms, digital albums, and now is the Patreon. It would be really helpful that fans support us with those platforms IF you're able and willing to.

And just to be clear, I won't quit doing music videos even if it keep going worse, because doing these things including performing, recording and editing is one of my personal interest, that's why I started all this in the first place, and that's something never change.

I don't know how far we can go, but as long as there's audience waiting for me, the music would never stop. ソロ・ウクレレ奏者として世界的に活躍する、トップ・ウクレレ・プレイヤー。
エキサイティングな高速フレーズから繊細で美しい音色まで自在に弾きこなし、ウクレレファンのみにとどまらず音楽家や業界関係者などからも高い評価を受けている。
1993年生まれ。11歳からウクレレを弾き始め、14歳の頃「天才ウクレレ少年」としてテレビで紹介され注目を集める。2010年にはジェイク・シマブクロのジャパンツアーに出演。2016年には２作のアルバムが“ハワイのグラミー賞”とも称される「ナ・ホク・ハノハノ・アワード」にノミネートされ、日本人としては史上最年少となる受賞を果たした。
同じく2016年にキングレコードよりメジャー・デビュー。
デビュー・アルバム「Made in Japan, To the World」から2020年に2作同時リリースされた「#おうち時間のウクレレ」「#眠れるウクレレ」までの4年間で6作品をリリースするという、ウクレレ・プレイヤーとしては珍しい、ハイペースなリリースを記録中。
デビュー後はフジロックフェスティバルへの出演や、TOKYO FM「JET STREAM」テーマ曲の編曲・演奏、すぎやまこういち氏公認の「ドラゴンクエスト」カバーアルバムのリリース、多彩な活動を繰り広げている。
海外からも高い評価を受け、これまでにアメリカ、イギリス、イタリア、オーストラリア、香港、タイ、台湾、中国、カナダでの公演を果たし、そのプレイが絶賛された。
愛用のウクレレは全て自身の手作り。ストラップやケースまで自作するウクレレ・ビルダーでもある。



Bringing a breath of fresh air to the Japanese Ukulele scene, Ryo Natoyama not only is an amazing Ukulele player but he also handcrafts all of his Ukuleles.  Born in 1993, he started playing the Ukulele after his family bought him one when they went to Hawaii during his 6th grade summer vacation. By the time he was in middle school, he crafted his own Ukulele. When he was 14, he became an opening act for Bruce Shimabukuro, Jody Kamisato, and other Hawaiian artists and appeared on television broadcasts. He also appeared on Jake Shimabukuro’s Japan Tour and in 2015, he released his 4th album called, “UKULELE SPLASH” and also a Christmas album called, “UKULELE Merry Christmas!”. Both albums were nominated for the 39th Na Hoku Hanohano Awards (Hawaii’s equivalent to the Grammy Awards) and he became the youngest Japanese artist to win with “UKULELE SPLASH”. He made his major label debut with “Made in Japan, To the World.” In July 2016. He has continued to be active in the music scene and has also performed in The United States, England, Italy, Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, China, and Canada.
