Food For Fighters launched their latest chefs charity project, Kao Pai Tor 9:9:9 (ก้าวไปต่อ) which involved 9 professional Chefs over 9 days, 19th to 27th of September to perform “Masterclasses” at Sevenfive Distributor Co., Ltd. Nonthaburi. The 9 Chefs trained with 9 representatives of each underprivileged community in order to teach them vital culinary skills and chef’s techniques. Every day of the campaign period, one chef was selected to train with the group to prepare and cook 100 meal boxes per day which were later distributed to the desperately needy communities and COVID 19 field hospitals.

1 year ago today, I went on a semester long exchange to study at Korea's Sungkyunkwan University #성균관대학교 for Fall 2020. 🇰🇷It was truly an exchange journey that really changed my life. I still can't help to think back to all of the amazing people that I met on this exchange, all of the awesome adventures exploring Korea, making the best out of every day in the 5 months that I was there for. That's why I selected A to Z of my favourite memories from August to January to show you guys why going on exchange can be so life-changing and it is definitely the best decision that I have made! 横須賀で人気の家系ラーメンに再訪！神奈川県横須賀市、新大津駅『大津家』に伺ってきました。横須賀でNo.1の家系を目指している、というこだわりの家系ラーメン店で、創業以来変わらぬ製法で濃厚かつコクのあるスープを目指しているそう。麺は直営「飯島製麺所」の麺を使用。何度も試食を重ねて作り上げたこだわりの麺だそう。野菜は甘みの強い厳選されたものを使い、バランスの良い味わいに仕上がっていました。今回は再訪ということでチャーハンも頂きました。こちら大津の本店と金沢文庫にも支店があるとのことですので、機会があれば行かれてみてはいかがでしょうか！では早速ご覧ください！

Revisit the popular Iekei Ramen in Yokosuka! I visited the "Otsu-ya" at Shin-Otsu Station in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is a ramen shop with a particular iekei ramen that aims to be the No. 1 iekei in Yokosuka, and it seems that it is aiming for a rich and rich soup with the same manufacturing method since its establishment. The noodles used are those from the directly managed "Iijima Noodle Factory". It seems that the noodles are made by tasting many times. We used carefully selected vegetables with a strong sweetness and finished them with a well-balanced taste. This time I got fried rice because it was a revisit. It is said that there are branches in the main store in Otsu and Kanazawa Bunko, so why not go if you have the opportunity! Please have a look!
