Ngữ pháp là nền tảng của bất kì ngoại ngữ nào, mặc dù IELTS không có bài test kiểm tra ngữ pháp của bạn nhưng nó lại đóng vai trò 25% trong mỗi phần thi IELTS. Do vậy, hôm nay mình xin tổng hợp lại một số cuốn sách Grammar hay và hữu ích được dùng nhiều trong ôn luyện IELTS nhé!

1️⃣ Longman Advanced Learners’ Grammar Ebook – Mark Foley & Diane Hall

Được biên soạn dựa trên Longman English Grammar Practice và các nội dung cốt lõi của các điểm ngữ pháp, quyển sách phân rõ 16 vùng kiến thức trọng tâm phi thường hữu ích, đặc biệt là cho kĩ năng IELTS writing. Đây là một quyển sách mang tính chất ‘thực hành, ôn luyện’ và nếu được đánh giá trên thang điểm 10, mình cho cuốn sách 9 điểm.

2️⃣ IELTS Language Practice

Cuốn sách IELTS Language Practice được chia làm 2 phần: Grammar và Vocabulary. Phần Grammar gồm 27 đơn vị bài học và 13 bài practise xen kẽ nhằm giúp học viên có thể xào nấu ngay các ‘món ăn’ vừa lĩnh hội được, đồng thời hiểu cặn kẽ vấn đề được đặt ra trong từng unit. Đặc biệt, phần hệ thống đặc điểm và chức năng cực kỳ đầy đủ, chi tiết,có ví dụ và thực hành được trích ra từ Reading và Writing IELTS để thí sinh có thể áp dụng ngay và luôn. Còn phần Vocabulary được phân thành 12 topic liên quan đến các trường từ vựng hay gặp trong Reading và Listening. Còn 6 bài Vocabulary còn lại là bảng tổng hợp các từ cấp độ cao mang tính học thuật (Academic Words List) để người học dễ dàng tra cứu và tiết kiệm thời gian. Quyển này mình thấy cực kì tốt. Tóm lại là nên sử dụng.

3️⃣ Top 20 - Great Grammar for Great Writing

Dựa trên những phản hồi của người dùng trước đó, cuốn sách Top 20 - Great Grammar for Great Writing tái bản lần 2 này đã chỉnh sửa và hoàn thiện hơn gồm 6 dạng bài tập ngữ pháp thường xuyên xuất hiện với tần số dày đặc sẽ được liệt kê tổng hợp: Original sentences, selecting the correct form, editing of sentences, editing of paragraphs, Multiple choices và Locating the errors. Từng dạng đều sẽ có một format chung là đưa ra bài tập, đáp án và giải thích chi tiết.

Các dạng bài không xếp xen kẽ nhau mà được hệ thống tùy thí sinh muốn luyện tập phần nào, yếu phần nào thì đều có thể ‘tăng sao’ một cách nhanh chóng nhờ practise cả một chùm kiến thức sẵn có. Thật quá chi tiết đúng không?

4️⃣ English advanced grammar in use
Cuốn sách English advanced grammar in use chứa tới tận 120 đơn vị bài học. Mỗi một đơn vị bài học là một mảng ngữ pháp khác nhau. Cái thì tập trung vào cấu trúc hay dùng như will be + Ving hoặc khó phân biệt như would hay used to…Mỗi 1 unit sẽ được thiết kế tóm gọn trong vòng 2 trang giấy, mặt trước của trang giấy là lời giải thích và các ví dụ cho từng phạm trù ngữ pháp, mặt sau của trang giấy là bài tập thực hành để các bạn ‘xào nấu’ ngay và luôn lượng kiến thức vừa thu nhận được.

5️⃣ Cuốn sách Cambridge Grammar for IELTS

Cambridge Grammar for IELTS là một cuốn sách dành cho bất cứ ai đang chuẩn bị cho kỳ thi IELTS. Mặc dù không có một phần thi chính thức về ngữ pháp tiếng Anh nhưng tất cả các kỹ năng thi của IELTS đều có mục đánh giá ngữ pháp. Ở các bài thi Nói và Viết, ngữ pháp là một trong 4 tiêu chí chấm thi. Vậy nên khi bắt đầu học IELTS bạn cũng cần củng cố 1 nền ngữ pháp chắc chắn. Khi đã và đang ôn IELTS bạn cũng luôn cần xem lại những điểm ngữ pháp mà mình còn yếu.

Cuốn sách Grammar for IELTS đề cập đến những vấn đề ngữ pháp quan trọng mà bạn cần.

✴️✴️✴️ Ý kiến của bản thân mình: Các cuốn sách trên đều cực kì đầy đủ các điểm mấu chốt được dùng trong khi thi IELTS. Mình thiết nghĩ các bạn chỉ cần sử dụng được một quyển thật nhuần nhuyễn thôi là ok rồi. Để có thể đạt được điểm số IELTS như ý muốn, các bạn nên tập khai thác cuốn sách những vấn đề sau:

✅ Sử dụng đúng Word Form
✅ Hiểu cách viết các cấu trúc câu phức tạp
✅ Đa dạng cấu trúc ngữ pháp
✅ Tránh các lỗi trong ngữ pháp

Ngữ pháp là nền tảng của bất kì ngoại ngữ nào, mặc dù IELTS không có bài test kiểm tra ngữ pháp của bạn nhưng nó lại đóng vai trò #25% trong mỗi phần thi IELTS. Do vậy, hôm nay mình xin tổng hợp lại một số cuốn sách Grammar hay và hữu ích được dùng nhiều trong ôn luyện IELTS nhé.

1️⃣ Longman Advanced Learners’ Grammar Ebook – Mark Foley & Diane Hall

Được biên soạn dựa trên Longman English Grammar Practice và các nội dung cốt lõi của các điểm ngữ pháp, quyển sách phân rõ 1️⃣6️⃣ vùng kiến thức trọng tâm phi thường hữu ích, đặc biệt là cho kĩ năng IELTS Writing.

▶️▶️ Đây là một quyển sách mang tính chất ‘thực hành, ôn luyện’ và nếu được đánh giá trên thang điểm 10, mình cho cuốn sách 9 điểm.

2️⃣ IELTS Language Practice

Cuốn sách IELTS Language Practice được chia làm 2️⃣ phần: Grammar và Vocabulary.

▶️▶️Quyển này mình thấy cực kì tốt. Tóm lại là nên sử dụng.

💯💯💯 Các cuốn sách trên đều cực kì đầy đủ các điểm mấu chốt được dùng trong khi thi IELTS. Mình nghĩ các bạn chỉ cần sử dụng được một quyển thật nhuần nhuyễn thôi là ok rồi. Để có thể đạt được điểm số IELTS như ý muốn, các bạn nên tập khai thác cuốn sách những vấn đề sau:
1. Sử dụng đúng Word Form
2. Hiểu cách viết các cấu trúc câu phức tạp
3. Đa dạng cấu trúc ngữ pháp
