You might not even notice JiangHu Edo's existence, the slightly oddball restaurant situated at Magazine Road (few doors away from Magazine 63) specializes in Japanese-Fusion dishes. Sure the name would ring a bell but many have not even heard/ seen the name; the fact that the place carries no signage makes it even harder for the public to notice. Enter via the main entrance at Magazine Road and make your way to the end of the space... a modern dining hall with minimalist type of elegance where sleek and clean utensils are carefully displayed. JiangHu Edo does not offer big menu but 3 types of course dinners and a list of ala-carte items. Prices are middle-upper range... pretty fine offering, more like a choice for times when you need to seriously impress or for occasions.

A lot of people have this impression that Tokyo is really expensive, however a cheap and fun way to enjoy different types of Japanese food is by buying Japanese street food!!! :D
A place that offers a lot of Japanese street food stalls is in Asakusa, Tokyo. If you are visiting Tokyo then Asakusa is most likely going to be a the top of your list and here are some of the street food shops I recommend trying out at Asakusa.

- Asakusa Kokonoe
(Agemanju, deep fried monja ¥170 and sakura bun ¥200)
Denpoin dori street
- Asakusa Menchi ¥200
(Menchi katsu, deep fried minced meat)
- Asakusa Kaede Wagashi
(Dango, Japanese sweet dumplings)
Chocolate sprinkle dango ¥200
Mitarshi sweet soy sauce glaze ¥130
Shin-Nakamise dori street
- Sekine Nikuman ¥260
(Nikuman, steamed meat bun)
- Asakusa Kurikoan
(Taiyaki, green tea macha filled taiyaki ¥176)
Apart from the Japanese street food and shopping in Asakusa there are many other things to see and do:
Kaminarimon (Kaminari Gate)
Sensoji Temple
Asakusa Shrine
Dempoin Temple
Kappabashi Shopping Street
Rox Department Store
Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center
Sumida River Cruise
Hanayashiki Amusement Park
Asahi Beer Tower
Taikokan (Drum Museum)
