Australia, Canada, China, Chile, India, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Russia, and the US. They aren’t ASEAN member states, but they are strategic partners of Singapore and ASEAN, and good trading partners as well! Meeting them regularly keeps relations warm, and lets us find more ways to work together.
If you wonder what goes on at international summits, it is usually a series of meetings (not glamorous, but necessary!). Today was no different, as we held summits with these important partners all through Wednesday. I also met one-on-one with several leaders.
We ended tonight with a Gala Dinner, which you may have seen streamed on the PMO YouTube channel! Tomorrow will be the last day of the summit - hoping for more fruitful discussions. :) – LHL
