What are calico dolls used for? Calico dolls, also known as 'trauma dolls', are used by CCF to help transition children with cancer to hospital and medical procedures.
Besides using the dolls to role-play of some of the medical procedures which the children have to undergo, designing and playing with the dolls also gives CCF children a sense of control and empower them with freedom of expression.

"My husband and I had been trying for a baby for five years. It was a difficult season of tears, disappointments, pain, and several trips to the hospital where we were told we had “unexplained infertility.” We tried in vitro fertilization and intracytoplasmic sperm injection but to no avail.
In February 2013, a friend sent us Pastor Prince’s sermon, Worship with the Psalms of David and See Good Days, which was broadcast in January that same year. In the message, Pastor Prince announced 2013 to be the year of open wombs and prayed for those who desired to have children. We received that prayer by faith and nine months later, our wonderful son, Jens, was born! He’s a miracle and gift to us from God.
Since then, I have been reading Pastor Prince’s daily devotionals and have even returned to church for the first time in over twenty years. I’m so happy that Jesus never left or gave up on me. I feel so blessed. Thank You, Jesus!"

I honestly thought I was going to die. So I had my day planned already - to clean the whole Punggol flat. But I injured myself and felt super sick to the point where I felt like I was going to pass out and die. Thankfully, Meredith got my back and helped me settle while Josh came to the rescue to help out with the furniture. And, honestly super thankful for my babies as well for lightening up my mood!
