The censorship of our bodies, the ‘offensiveness’ of the female anatomy hurt us all. I’m not talking about our identities, and feminism, or even politics.

I’m talking about women who fear going for Pap smears and check ups, who’re scared to tell their parents they have infections and don’t know what to do, who don’t know about HPV vaccines, and birth control, and put themselves in danger, because society shames our bodies, shames what makes us women, shame what makes us sacred and amazing, and different from men.

I hesitated a little speaking up about this because I had been closely working with @kotexmy on some campaigns, and understood the terms we’re bound by when we work, but when I talked to the representatives down at Kotex, they reassured me that this fight, our fight, is so much bigger than just brands and work. 😭💖

I’m so so happy to be in a place where I can collaborate with people who give me the freedom to stand up for what I believe in, and lend power and voice through me, and recognise in the big picture, we’re all fighting for the same thing. ✨

Our bodies are not shameful, neither are they offensive, nor sexual. Our bodies are strong, wondrous, incredible things that possess the gift of giving life, and it should be celebrated by all, especially other women ✨

I am truly comforted by the idea that in their act to censor our bodies, they accidentally blew the issue up, and ironically it blew back in their faces. 😉 when they come for us, they come for us all, so don’t be surprised when we bite back.

The Sting of Death is Gone

“Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you.” (Luke‬ ‭10:19‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Many troubles we experience in life are the work of Satan and his demons, represented by the serpents and scorpions in the verse above. When they attack, do you know what to do?

The power of a serpent is in its sometimes poisonous bite, and the power of a scorpion is in its toxic sting. The serpent’s mouth is in front, the scorpion’s stinger is at the back.

Jesus is saying that He has given you authority and protection against the front, back and everything in-between of the enemy.

When you understand how to tread on your demonic enemies, you become immune to harm.

““Death, where is your sting? Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:55-56‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Sin is the scorpion’s poisonous sting which produces death. Satan wants people to nurture their sins so that their sowing into the flesh brings forth the mature fruit of death.

Sin produces death because of the Law (the Ten Commandments). A transgression of God’s law brings the penalty of death and the curse of the Law. Without the Law, sin wouldn’t result in death.

For a born-again believer, sin has become powerless to kill him (the spirit) because the believer has shared in Jesus’ death and has passed from death into life. He has been irreversibly saved.

““Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.” (John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Sin is also unable to bring the curse upon a believer because Jesus has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse Himself at the cross.

“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,” that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” (Galatians‬ ‭3:13-14‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

However, many believers don’t know these. When up against a believer, Satan is like a scorpion without a sting. He still tries to deceive believers that they can lose their salvation and that God curses them when they sin. Making a Christian think that God is against him destroys his faith because who can resist the power of God?

Actually, the only way the sting can grow back is if you put yourself under the Law again. The moment you attempt works-based justification, it’s like Satan’s sting regenerates and is driven deep into your body, inflicting death through the curse of the Law.

“For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who doesn’t continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.”” (Galatians‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Satan may come with lies like a serpent and say, “You sinned again. You’re hopeless. God’s curse is upon you. God is going to destroy you because you keep repeating your sins and are unrepentant.”

He heaps accusations and condemnation upon you. The moment you believe him, you are stung by the scorpion. The curse of the Law takes effect in your life because you have effectively put yourself under the covenant of the Law as a transgressor.

Based on the principle of sowing and reaping, sin still bears the fruit of death, causing sickness, depression, infirmity, aging, and finally the death of the body, but sin cannot cause you to lose your salvation or bring you under God’s curse.

God is for you, not against you. His favor continually shines upon you and it is not by your performance, but by the grace of God, made possible through Jesus’ finished work at the cross.

When you fall because of sin, it is by the grace of God that you can immediately pick yourself up again. Do not cut yourself off from that supply by being self-condemned.

In your war against Satan’s temptations, sometimes you will fall—and God knows that. But you can dust yourself off and get up again by receiving the grace and mercy of God. Do not allow Satan to trick you into thinking that God’s curse is upon you.

The scorpion’s sting has been removed and the Law does not apply to you, so let it stay that way. You are a child of God under the New Covenant of Grace who is led by the Holy Spirit!

For that reason, I've made a Spotted Seal bread with sesame seeds inside that look something like the seals you'd see in an aquarium.
'Gomafuazarashi' (spotted seal) made with 'goma' (sesame)... haha, what a corny joke! But, I was surprised to find out that 'gomafuazarashi' is 'spotted seal' in English... there's no sesame (goma) in the name! Will this lame joke even translate into English?!
I put cheese (the kind that stretches when melted and goes very well with sesame seeds) inside so you can't go wrong with the flavors.
*Recipe* (8 Spotted Seals)
1. Knead together: 225g (1 1/2 cups) bread flour, 15g (1/8 cup) light brown sugar (any kind is okay), 2g (1/2 tsp) salt, 3g (1/2 tsp) dry yeast, 105g (2/3 cups) tepid water (it was cold inside on the day I made this, so around 30 degrees C or 85 F), 15g (1 Tablespoon) fresh cream and 23g (1 1/2 Tablespoons) milk.
2. After it has been roughly combined, knead in 20g (1 1/2 Tablespoons) of unsalted butter. Halfway through, add 10g (1 Tablespoon) of black sesame seeds and knead until it becomes smooth.
3. Knead into a ball and place in a bowl that has been coated lightly with vegetable oil, and allow it to ferment for 40 minutes at 35 degrees C (95 F) until it doubles in size (first proof).
4. Punch down the dough to remove the gas bubbles.
5. Divide the ball into 8 equal parts and further cut up the parts that will become the hands. Take all 16 pieces and pull on the smooth sides of each and roll them into balls so that the cut end is on the inside.
6. Cover with a damp cloth and let sit for 15 minutes (bench rest).
7. Put the cheese in. This time I used half a stick of 'Sakeru Cheese' (a Japanese string cheese brand) in each. Tuck in the cheese and close the opening.
8. With dampened scissors, construct the tail by making a cut.
9. Cut the 'hand' dough balls in half and stick them on either side of the balls in 7.
10. Leave the dough to ferment at 35 degrees C (95 F) for 35 minutes, until it expands to 1.5 times its size (second proof).
11. Lightly sprinkle bread flour on the surface using a tea strainer.
12. Make the eyes and nose by pressing in chocolate chips.
13. Make slits for whiskers with a dampened knife of scissors.
14. Reduce preheated oven from 190 degrees C (375 F) to 160 C (320 F) and bake for 10 minutes. Reduce again to 150 C (300 F) and back for an additional 4 minutes.
15. Take a picture of that ugly/cute thing. Let that gooey cheese stretch as you take a bite. Yummy.

If it cools down, wrap it in plastic wrap and warm it up in the microwave for about 15 seconds. The gooeyness will come back.

僭越ながら、妄想グルメ母は週刊ヤングジャンプ掲載時の1988年から少年アシベのゴマちゃんに似ていると言われておりますが（恐縮です）、 https://youtu.be/4eZNB24RonI そんなこともあって、水族館で見かけそうな、ゴマを入れたゴマフアザラシのパン、作りました。
胡麻でゴマフアザラシ・・・ふふふっ、ベタだ。ところがびっくり、ゴマフアザラシって英語だとspotted seal ...どこにもsesameがない！このベタな感じ伝わるのか！？いやそもそも似てない！？
ゴマに合う、チーズ、ビヨーンと伸びるチーズも入れておきましたので味は間違いございません。
*レシピ*（8ゴマフアザラシ）
１．強力粉 225g、きび砂糖（なんでもOK）15g、塩 2g、ドライイースト 3g、ぬるま湯（室温の低い日だったので 30度くらい）105g、生クリーム 15g、牛乳 23gを入れこねる。
２．ザッとひとまとまりになったら、無塩バター 20gを加えこねる。途中、黒ごま 10gも入れ、なめらかになるまでこねる。
３．丸くまとめ植物油を薄く塗ったボウルに入れ、35度で40分、生地が2倍くらいになるまで発酵させる（1次発酵）。
４．ガス抜きをする。
５．生地を8等分にする。さらに手になる部分を切り分ける。全16個は、なめらかな面の生地を引っ張って、切り口が内側になるように摘んで丸める。
６．ぬれぶきんを掛け、15分置く。（ベンチタイム）
７．チーズを包む。今回、『さけるチーズ』を1/2本ずつ包みました。摘んでしっかり閉じる。
８．濡らしたハサミで切込みを入れ、シッポを作る。
９．手の生地を半分にし、７の両脇につける。
１０．35度で35分、生地が1.5倍くらいになるまで発酵させる（2次発酵）。
１１．茶こしで強力粉を表面に軽く振る。
１２．チョコチップで目と鼻をつける。グッと強く押し付けてつけてください。
１３．濡らしたハサミやナイフでヒゲをつける。
１４．190度に予熱したをオーブンの温度を160度に下げ10分。さらに150度に下げ4分焼く。
１５．ブサカワだと自分を納得させて撮影。チーズをビヨーンと伸ばし食べる。おいしい。

冷めてしまったら、ラップに包んで電子レンジで15秒ほど温めて。ビヨーンが復活します。

Hey, xin chào. Vậy là the vlogging series Euro Trip 2018 kết thúc với Phần 10, ngày cuối cùng của bọn mình tại Mykonos.

Vào ngày cuối, bọn mình dành thời gian hưởng thụ những giây phút còn lại tại hòn đảo Mykonos này. Cả lũ cố chụp cho nốt ảnh trước khi không còn cơ hội nữa!

Xuyên suốt cả series này, ngoài việc chia sẻ trải nghiệm đi du lịch của bọn mình, một trong những điều mình muốn làm qua series là khắc hoạ tính cách nhân vật của từng người. Địa điểm và cảnh quan là thứ kêu gọi mọi người click vào xem nhưng mình tin nhân vật và tính cách của họ mới chính là điều khiến các bạn tiếp tục theo dõi hàng tuần.

Hey, guys. So the vlogging series Euro Trip 2018 comes to an end with our final part, our last day in Mykonos.

We spent the day just enjoying our time in the town centre, walking around and getting those snaps before we head off!
Throughout this vlogging series, aside from sharing with you all my traveling experience, what I also want to do is to show you the personalities of those on the trip. I really do believe the destinations and scenery are the things that attract the clicks, but the characters within the story are the ones who make you come back for more.
