【片商新聞稿】台灣第一位參加奧運舉重無限量級、2017世大運舉重銀牌好手陳士杰，今晨現身總統府，與電影【毀滅大作戰】男主角巨石強森隔空合體，東西方體壇與影壇兩位最強壯的男人一起「力挺」世界地球日路跑！
一年一度的世界地球日路跑，適逢最新動作冒險電影【毀滅大作戰】宣傳期，特別邀請男主角巨石強森為路跑活動錄製影片，在起跑前為大家加油打氣並且提供參賽選手小撇步。除了好萊塢大明星的加持，主辦單位還特別邀請到台灣最壯的超級猛男、奧運舉重國手陳士杰到場助陣，在起跑線為大家加油，也為路跑活動增添神力！特地北上參加這次活動的陳士杰表示，「有機會來參加這個活動很開心！能跟偶像巨石強森隔空同台也滿有意思的，【毀滅大作戰】裡他一個人對抗多頭巨獸，我期勉自己站上舉重台上，也要有像他一樣的霸氣！」透過AR擴增實境的技術，也讓陳士杰體驗了跑給猩猩追的恐懼，第一次玩AR的陳士傑覺得新潮有趣，還欲罷不能的一口氣體驗了電影中的所有巨獸。活動結束後陳士杰馬不停蹄南下回到國訓中心，繼續為今年8月雅加達亞運奪牌備戰。
【毀滅大作戰】內容講述靈長類動物學家戴維斯奧克耶（巨石強森 飾）不喜與人親近，卻與一頭智商極高的銀背大猩猩：喬治每天形影不離，牠從出生後不久就一直由奧克耶照顧。沒想到一次失控的基因實驗出錯，讓這頭溫馴的大猩猩突變成為身形巨大的兇猛野獸，而且禍不單行的是，很快又發現其他類似的變種動物。這些新生的掠食怪物在北美各地肆虐，所到之處都被破壞殆盡，於是戴維斯與一位名聲不佳的基因工程師合作，設法取得解藥，並在瞬息萬變的戰場殺出一條活路，他不只要終止這場災難，也要拯救那個曾是他朋友的可怕怪獸：喬治。
電影【毀滅大作戰】預計於4月12日在台上映。
