Thank you for all your recommendations on toddler beds! We decided on just a mattress for now as we wanted Arielle to get used to sleeping out of a cot. We also haven’t found a frame that we really like and afraid she may roll off, if it is of a height.

Arielle slept like a baby in her cot. After all, it was where which she has slept for 3.5 years. In her new bed, she now wakes up every night and stands at our door but once she sees us, she runs back into her room and onto her bed and zzz. She’s so funny! The consolation is that she doesn’t wake Aaron up. On Day 1, I told her to just call us from outside and we will come to her and explained that if she comes in, she would wake didi who is a light sleeper. Thank you, Arielle. It’s exhausting for papa who attends to her every night but we will get there together, Arielle! 💪🏻

Time flies and it's been four weeks since you came into our lives. Yup, technically, it isn't even your EDD yet, haha. Every day, I look at you and am just deeply thankful to know that you are safe, healthy and happy.

Well, you chose to keep us up all night long today because you seemed to have bad dreams and would wake with a startle every now and then, grabbing my shirt so tightly before letting out a wail. I spent hours singing to you, cuddling you, carrying you and telling you that it's okay, for I am here with you.

No matter how exhausted I am, seeing your lovely face, hugging your tiny body and holding your little fingers are reminders that everything is worthwhile and it won't be long before you grow up.

Thank you for all the joy you bring, for turning our world upside down and for just being you. We love you more than words can say. With lots of love, hugs and kisses! ❤

FriYAY!!!! Whose children has no school today? It’s a regular school day for Arielle. One of Arielle’s favorite word to say now is “remember”- “I remember mommy bring me to this playground last time when I baby”. Not because her memory is superb, it’s because she REMEMBERS that I told her that I used to bring her here last week. And there after, she will repeat and repeat it everyyyyyy week when we pass by the playground at GGM’s.
