Chắc chúng ta đã quá quen với hình ảnh ông “mập mập” hay xuất hiện cùng các ngôi sao Hip-hop khác trong những MV bài hát cùng các câu slogan hài hài nhưng bất hủ như “We The Best” hay là “Another One” và đặc biệt là sau bản hit “All I Do Is Win” rất nổi tiếng. Nhưng ít ai biết rằng Khaled là người gốc Palestin với xuất thân là 1 DJ thực sự và là 1 phát thanh viên của đài WEDR 99 Jamz. Sau đó ông trở thành DJ cho nhóm Hip-hop đình đám thời đó là Terror Squad! Cột mốc đáng nhớ bắt đầu từ năm 2004 khi ông bắt đầu hợp tác sản xuất âm nhạc cùng các tên tuổi lớn khác như Fabolous, Fat Joe.. và chính thức ra mắt Album riêng đầu tiên vào năm 2007 (We The Best) chính thức đánh dấu trở thành nhà sản xuất âm nhạc chuyên nghiệp. Tiếp sau thành công đó 2009 ông trở thành Giám Đốc hãng đĩa Def Jam South và là CEO của hãng We The Best Music Group! Trong suốt sự nghiệp của ông ngoài những single & collab cùng các nghệ sĩ tên tuổi khác ông đã có cho mình tính đến năm nay 2019 với Album mới nhất (Father Of Asahd) là con số 11!
Có thể nói ngành công nghiệp âm nhạc rất cạnh tranh nhưng với chặng đường 15 năm sự nghiệp phát triển và đứng vững thì DJ Khaled luôn là trong top những nghệ sĩ Hip-hop có ảnh hưởng và thành công ko ai có thể phủ nhận!
