My kids are usually left alone when I need to do the chores so I try to make sure they have a child-friendly, cosy corner to play in. Since we moved into our new house, good quality platmats are a must because they help to protect the toddler from falls and create a comfortable environment for him too.
We are loving our latest playmat from Dfang, which is a Scandinavian inspired line of mats made in Korea and come in simple, stylish and functional designs. The mat is reversible with dual designs, waterproof, anti-bacterial, BPA free and certified non-toxic, easy to clean and among the thickest in the market at 16mm.
The boy loves playing with his cars and trains on the City Road (blue) design and its vibrant colours make it very inviting and is a perfect addition to our play area. The good thing about having dual designs is that once your child has outgrown the 'kiddy' design, you can just flip the mat over and use the more stylish, chic side which will fit most homes nicely. I love our Honeycomb design (see second pic) which complements our Scandinavian themed home and makes a pleasant reading corner for the kids too.
