For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them. The passage above doesn’t mean that a born-again believer can lose his salvation by sinning and failing to keep the Ten Commandments.
Unfortunately, that is what is taught in some churches and they use the passage above to justify that.
Learn the true meaning of the passage when you read it in the context of the whole chapter!
