Back home again, after a two-week working trip.
It was an eventful day at the Session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Yerevan, Armenia yesterday. We signed three agreements related to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)-Singapore Free Trade Agreement.
The EAEU comprises the five countries of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
We completed the FTA negotiations in only 2 years! This reflects the hard work of the negotiators, as well as strong support by all the countries. I am glad the the EAEU members and Singapore are like-minded partners committed to multilateralism and free trade. The FTA will open up new opportunities for us to collaborate.
