行山抽筋急救預防術
秋高氣爽,時近重陽,不少人都相約登高行山,行山這項運動容易被人輕視,因為很多人以為行山就是行路,其實行山是長時間的耐力運動,需要運用全身肌肉,一不小心就容易受傷,最常見弄傷腳部,腿抽筋更是常見情況,因為熱身不足、體力不支、肌肉突然用力或者突然受到寒涼外邪刺激,都有機會導致腿抽筋,如遇上此情況,可以按以下三個步驟紓緩痛楚:
1. 坐在地上讓雙腿伸直。
2. 用雙手拉住腳掌,慢慢向身體方向拉扯,保持膝關節伸直。
3. 按壓承筋穴,位於小腳肚的隆起處,小腿後面,委中穴下5寸,腓腸肌肌腹中央,促進血液循環,紓緩痛楚。
中醫理論認為腳抽筋原因多是「血不榮筋」,血液不能充分榮養筋肉,使血脈、筋骨間的營養傳輸發生障礙,所以肝血不足、氣滯血瘀、寒凝血滯的人特別容易出現抽筋情況。想預防抽筋,避免進食生冷寒涼飲品食物,做好保暖功夫以免雙腳受涼,平日按壓承筋穴都有助預防。行山時要量力而為,開始前做足夠熱身運動,每行一段距離就要休息,避免行走過急,可減少抽筋情況出現。

Tips to prevent muscle cramps when hiking
The pleasant autumn weather has encouraged many people to go hiking in the mountains. This activity is often underestimated, because people think it is just walking or strolling, but in reality, hiking takes a long time and tests our endurance.
Since hiking involves the entire body, we might accidentally hurt our muscles, especially our legs. Leg cramps are also a common occurrence when we do not warm up properly, strain our muscles, lack in stamina, or experience cold pathogens. If this happens, you can relieve the pain by following the steps below:
1. Sit on the ground and stretch your legs straight.
2. Bend and stretch your arms to touch the foot soles, and slowly pull towards the body, remember to keep the knees straight.
3. Massage the ‘cheng jin’ acupoint, which can be found at the bulging part of the calf, 5 inches beneath the ‘wei zhong’ acupoint, the center of the of gastrocnemius muscle, to improve blood circulation and relieve pain.
According to Chinese Medicine theories, leg cramps normally happened due to the lack of blood in the muscles. When there is insufficient blood flow to nourish the system, the bones and muscles might not function properly. Therefore, individuals with blood deficiency problem in the liver, qi stagnation and blood stasis, blood stagnation due to the cold condition, will normally develop cramp problems.
In order to prevent muscle cramps, avoid eating raw and cold food as well as drinks, keep the foot soles warm, and massage the ‘cheng jin’ acu point regularly as preventive measures. When hiking, do weigh your abilities and act accordingly; warm up properly before starting the journey, take short breaks in between; be patient and walk slowly to prevent cramps.

𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆: Easy
𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝗲: FREE
Bukit Janggut is located at Sepanggar, just about 30 minutes ride from Kota Kinabalu town depending on the traffic. The entrance is on the side of the road, you'll need to park your car at the roadside. At the entrance, there are 2 or 3 stalls at the starting point selling beverages and snacks at around 7am daily. There is only one trail to the peak, easy to access, and is safe. Though it is only 690 meters long, there ain't much flat surface for you to rest until the peak. It takes only about 20 - 30 minutes hike to the peak depending on your physical endurance and stamina. Upon reaching the peak, there is another short trail leading to an attraction called "Bird Nest", from there you can get up to the peak as well. However, I would prefer you to visit the "Bird Nest" when you're coming down. At the peak, there are some great decorated platforms ready for you to be model and take Instagrammable pictures. Bukit Janggut is a perfect place to enjoy sunrise rising from behind Mount Kinabalu.

Warning: This workout routine is not for Beginner and Intermediate trainer. This routine is hardcore, and this workout routine is never meant to be "fun" or that kinda "good workout" routine, and you may dislike this routine. However, this routine was designed to push your body to the limit or beyond, especially your lower body and stamina!
Three criteria to get the best out of level 6:
1.) Technique: You must be able to complete all Level 5 workouts without feeling too much fatigue. That means that your body is already adapted to this kind of training.
2.) Stamina & Recovery: Complete Level 5 workouts by taking no longer than 2-3 minutes rest in between each round.
3.) To experience Level 6 difficulty. You must achieve the rep goal in every exercise. IMO, if you only manage to achieve anything lower than the benchmark, this workout is considered a Level 5 workout instead.
Estimated calories burned in this session: 500-600+ kcal

In this Fitness adventure vlog we explored Taipa Pequena, a great hill in Macau with lots of workout stations and nice hiking trails.
The goal of this workout adventure was to do enough body weight exercises and hiking to burn over 1000 calories so that we could eat a Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory, guilt free!
We started our Macau adventure at the Taipa Waterfront, overlooking Macau tower and the Macau city skyline.
Here we walked towards the hill we would be working out in.
Once we arrived these are the body weight exercises that we did:
Stair Climbers: Sprinting up stairs or even walking is a great way to burn fat and build muscle in your lower body.
Push ups: This body weight workout is perfect for toning your upper body and can help prevent shoulder injury.
Star Jumps: This basic cardio exercise allows you to increase your stamina and can help you run faster and jump higher.
Leap Frogs: This partner body weight workout is great for working your butt and lower body muscles.
Sprints: A great stamina workout, increasing your stamina and cardiovascular endurance.
Hiking: I was surprised how good hiking was at burning calories, it can be a fun easy way to loose weight and explore off the beaten path places.
Pull ups: This is a tough body weight workout but great for building your grip strength as well as working your back, biceps and overall upper body muscles.
Burpees: This body weight exercise is the best for burning fat and gaining muscle at the same time. It will raise your heart rate even higher then sprinting so is great for stamina and endurance too!
Squat Jumps: This body weight workout allows you to grow your lower body muscles in an explosive, intense body weight workout!
Wheelbarrow and Partner Lifts: This body weight partner workout works your whole body.
All these workouts can be done indoors or without a gym.
To celebrate burning 1000 calories in 1 day we went to the Cheesecake Factory to eat the best Cheesecake in the world!

但其實還是有一些些的不同,

endurance 的範圍比較廣,包函心理層面與生理層面的意思,

通常比較著重在心理層面的耐力。
