Dropping pins across the global map, Taiwan’s RayRay is always close to the most enviable sonic spots from Glastonbury to ADE’s finest, fueling a fierce open format style music spectrum from hip hop to EDM, Miami bass to tech house and trap and drum-step vibes. A true love story with the beats, RayRay took to a road in the sonic realm from the early days. Initially on the hip-hop tip she organically gravitated to the electronic cartel making her a diverse addition to the ever-evolving music industry. A justified winner of the Red Bull Thre3style competition and participant in the Red Bull Music Academy Montreal 2016 where she was accepted as one of 30 students of 3500 applicants received, RayRay has literally become the one to watch.

Behind the studio walls, RayRay holds true to her trap inspired production where 2016 sees the work in progress of her debut EP featuring the likes of Din Pei following her debut single ‘Closer’ with X&G and Josh Pan. In 2017, she release her first EP across all major digital platforms titled "Reincarnation EP" and set new records for sales, streams, downloads and tour stops. Her hit single "Marijade" reached number 3 on beatport charts. Sessions with Skrillex and fellow pioneering artists have set ablaze the next chapter in her musical story, injecting a savage signature sound into all she releases.

There is no doubting the presence RayRay holds behind the booth with a recent astounding guest feature at one of the world’s undoubted premier festivals Glastonbury, showcasing an epic sound spectrum to music enthusiasts.. Between the cities, her diehard assault on club floors has also been infectious from Singapore to Hong Kong. Dropping beats across her catalogue, RayRay brings forth her laser vision for the music taking her truly appetizing flare on the decks to SXSW, ADE and Midem France Music Festival 2016. RayRay has been invited to perform at Barong Family Label Night at ADE in Amsterdam 2017.

DeeJay RayRay, will be one of the speakers at TAMC held on board It's The Ship 2017​ - Asia's Largest Festival at Sea on the 18th November 2017.

初めまして。ビデオの監督をしたLeo Youlagiです。
HOPELESS ROMANTICはいつもライブの写真を撮っているSIRUPくんやShinくん、そして以前アートワークを担当させていただいたstarRoさんの共作ということで、このメンバーと一緒に作品を作れたことをとても嬉しく思っています。
「一方通行のコミュニケーション」をテーマに、真っ暗闇に向けて誰が見ているとも知らず、光を投げかけ続ける灯台のようなイメージを映像に落としこんでみました。今はなかなか会えない好きな人や友達を想う夜に寄り添える作品になりますように。
4Kで作ったので、なるべく大きな画面で楽しんでください！

Hi all, this is Leo Youlagi, the director for this music video.
HOPELESS ROMANTIC was created as a collaboration by a team who I’ve worked closely with; SIRUP and Shin who I always take live photos for, and starRo who I’ve created artwork for in the past. I am extremely happy to have been able to create this piece of work with all three of them.
With the main theme being "one-way communication", I imagined an existence, almost like a lighthouse, that keeps shining light into pitch black darkness without knowing if there is anyone watching. I hope that this piece will be something that will always be by your side in these times when you may not be able to see your loved ones and close friends, but will think of them dearly during nights when you feel a little lonely.
I created the video 4K, so please enjoy it on the biggest screen possible!

We first got to know each other through a round of “Game of Life”. I'm grateful that each of our viewpoints from our own lives were able to intersect to make this song, and grateful for this English version music video that captures that same energy!!!

Between Worlds describes the internal journey of waking up and realising you're drowning, then swimming up to the water's surface for air. Breaking the surface, you then realise that what the world above holds for you is far from rosy.

Behold the dichotomy between the two worlds: peace and oblivion vs. reality and despair. Caught between these two worlds, what do you do?

It's my hope that one learns to accept and overcome the despair and turmoil this world offers, and that one finds a way to summon the peace of the world beneath the surface...
