#ExploreAndCurate: Vancouver Chinatown & Strathocona Part I
The golden season of the year, personally, is fall, not summer. It's a time for disposition, and reflection.
As the days get shorter my mind becomes more active. Looking back this year I think I've grown a lot. I made plans. Some worked out. Some didn't. But I'm glad that most turnt out well.
Even though there were a few surprises, both pleasant and unpleasant, they helped me know myself better. And I'm a huge believer that knowing yourself is the foundation of the meaning of life.
So I'm excited to see what's gonna happen for the rest of the year. 2016 is by far the most fruitful year in my life. It isn't necessarily the "happiest" year but then again, the good life, or what the Greek called Eudaimonia, isn't the sum of joyful moments that are always readily quantifiable but the overall human flourishing.
I realize that I'm getting a lot deeper than I intended this post to be. So I'll stop here and perhaps I'd revisit this topic in the future 😉
