//One lab had sent its daily test report to PHE in the form of a CSV file – the simplest possible database format, just a list of values separated by commas. That report was then loaded into Microsoft Excel, and the new tests at the bottom were added to the main database.

But while CSV files can be any size, Microsoft Excel files can only be 1,048,576 rows long – or, in older versions which PHE may have still been using, a mere 65,536. When a CSV file longer than that is opened, the bottom rows get cut off and are no longer displayed. That means that, once the lab had performed more than a million tests, it was only a matter of time before its reports failed to be read by PHE.//

《Excel shortcut》

有一間big 4 係好鍾意玩excel shortcut，除了剛入職的同事，還會用着笨重的滑鼠，senior grade平常都唔用滑鼠，唔係因為威啲，而係因為用滑鼠真係慢人一步。

我intern 時在local audit firm 做，但我男友在big 4 裡做，那天我在抱怨我無帶滑鼠去外地出job，真係好唔方便，之後，他就取笑我點解無滑鼠就好似生活唔到，所以佢就send 了excel short cut 教學俾我，佢話佢當時所有嘅senior都唔洗用滑鼠，只用小紅點和keyboard 就可以橫走audit 界，仲要玩excel short cut 玩到出神入化。

所以，就這樣由Ctrl + S開始學，Ctrl + Z，shift Home，Ctrl + P ，Alt+A+G+G，Alt+A+C，而最常用嘅shortcut，好似加row，減row，最好就加入去Customize keyboard shortcuts, 咁下次你要加行或是paste format，只要按Alt+1, Alt+2之類，就可以好快用到。

如果你每次按一個掣都要由keyboard 伸手去滑鼠度已經慢左啦！

當然啦，如果hea 緊嘅時間咪用下滑鼠囉～～

一係就將滑鼠個speed 加快，因為平時page down, page up 都已經satisfy 唔到你睇contract 同annual report 嘅速度，所以我嘅滑鼠係比平常speed 快兩倍。
