Nose：厚實的橡木桶，酒精氣略顯刺激，麥芽、蜂蜜和淡淡的乾果甜逐漸上升，但有點悶，加些水之後浮出熟果甜以及年輕的木質調，甜甜的果醬和少許芒果乾，微微刺激的荳蔻辛香料，時間拉長後雪莉越來越清晰
Palate：很creamy的雪莉風，以年輕的木質調襯底，濃郁的麥芽、蜂蜜、焦糖、蘋果派、裝飾了許多乾果和糖漿的硬蛋糕，白胡椒、荳蔻的辛香調讓我產生奇妙的黑松沙士聯想，烤焦的麵包、略甜略苦的黑巧克力，一點點藥草、甘草在尾端
Finish：中~長，木質單寧和一些乳脂襯托著藥草、甘草、蜂蜜、糖漿，一點點感冒糖漿或川貝枇杷膏的暗示
Comment：非常美國白橡木雪莉桶的基調，不過或許是暑氣，香氣顯得有些悶，必須加些水才逐漸活潑。入口的雪莉感十分清楚，我喜歡那種在口舌間嗶嗶剝剝跳動的刺激，很沙士的聯想，也充滿了焦糖甜，尾端裡的藥草、甘草有些川貝枇杷膏，嗯，生津止渴。

Nose：前端旺盛的酒精氣很快的沉靜下來，蜂蜜、柑橘果醬，還有許多的砂糖甜融在乳脂裡，甜蜜蜜的讓人感覺十分舒服，淡淡的煙燻和橡木桶逐漸浮出，蜜糖甜緩慢增濃，乳脂溫暖稠密，淺淺的薑汁調入紅糖裡，放得越久，砂糖甜越是豐富
Palate：直接強勁的雪莉桶風格，蜂蜜、砂糖、焦糖、太妃糖，眾多的糖甜味調在充足的油脂、乳脂中，少許的柑橘汁點綴，再釋出橡木桶和微微的黑咖啡，胡椒、肉桂、丁香，許多辛香料，一點點藥草、甘草飄盪在尾端
Finish：中~長，蜂蜜、砂糖和乳脂常常延續，一點點的藥草、甘草暗示，堅果、黑咖啡微微的苦，少量麥芽甜
Comment：剛開瓶時的香氣有點奇妙，有一股接近乾草、穀物的風味，老實說，不是很讓我欣賞，不過隔天再試竟然做了極大的轉變，眾多的糖甜味甜滋滋的很是舒服。口感倒是與前一天類似，中後段浮出一絲苦韻，好似藥草或咖啡，但平添某種逸趣。

Nose：鳳梨、柑橘，大量的果酸在前端，慢慢的浮出蜜甜滋味，許多奶油、乳脂融著蜜蘋果、蜜鳳梨和香草冰淇淋，一些年輕的木質與單寧，微微的薑汁暗示，底端飄著越來越濃郁的花香，華美、甜蜜、馥郁，太美妙了
Palate：充足的奶油油脂包覆下，大量鳳梨、柑橘、蘋果、水蜜桃、百香果，各式各樣的夏日水果蜜甜與平衡甜滋味的果酸，乾淨、清新的木質與單寧，微微的白胡椒和荳蔻、薑汁，少許蠟質感，一些麥芽、烤麵包在尾端
Finish：中~長，淡淡的蜜糖甜延續，少許辛香感和單寧，一點點燒烤橡木桶、烤麵包、考麥芽
Comment：我必須說，這支酒正足以說明為什麼我愛Refill sherry遠勝於first fill sherry，因為不會只有sherry的甜，而是許多讓我迷醉的夏日水果甜酸滋味，沒錯，甜味如果不加上酸味就顯得單調，如果能加上充分的奶油油脂和微微的辛香料點綴，還有什麼能比得上？

There is something for everyone on a Night Out in Macau and in this Macau guide we wanted to show you the best places to have a drink with friends and enjoy the evening!

We started in Old Taipa Tavern found in Old Taipa Village Macau, they offer a huge selection of craft beers along with their very own Macau special brew.

Heading from Taipa Village we went to Galaxy Hotel and Resort Macau, to try their endless supply of high quality Gin and Tonics at the gorgeous Ritz-Carlton Bar & Lounge. For those looking for a high class bar in Macau the Ritz-Carlton Bar & Lounge is perfect for a fancy night out with friends!

Staying in Galaxy Macau we went down to Macallan Whisky Bar & Lounge to try their Macau exclusive Whiskey along with Old Fashioned Cocktails. Here there is a wonderful ambience to the bar with live music, truly a classy way to send an evening in Macau.

Finally we headed from the Cotai Strip Macau to Old Taipa Village Macau to try the creative signature cocktails on offer at Goa Nights. Here they have cocktails based on popular Macau attractions and Macau landmarks. They had a Ruins of Saint Paul, Red Street Macau and Old Taipa Village Macau themed cocktails that are must try Cocktails in Macau!

The Glenlivet Malaysia launches latest limited edition ~ The Glenlivet Code

The Glenlivet Code is a mysterious Single Malt Scotch whisky, i.e. being released without cask information/ tasting notes. Inspired by the iconic British Code breakers, the limited edition is a labyrinth of flavours that will test the senses of even the most discerning whisky drinker. So, the whisky connoisseurs will have to discover & putting their Single Malt knowledge to the test.

Guess what?

Even as invited guests, all are required to 1st decode a word puzzle diagram on the invitation to get the venue location. The puzzle diagram consisted of numbers that represented an alphabet. Ha…Ha…

Frankly, SiennyLovesDrawing was failed for the 1st attempt in getting the venue right. After several attempts & with some tips given, she got it!! Yeah!!

All the media, The Malaysian Glenlivet Guardians & the winners from the public who participated in its FB page contest, all were treated to an exquisite evening with the latest limited edition ~ The Glenlivet Code

The Glenlivet Code presents the brand’s smooth & fruity house style with some additional twists for a moment of definitive pleasure. Its release is supported by an interactive digital experience, inspired by the famous British code breakers & aims to test consumers’ knowledge & understanding of Single Malt whisky.

The Glenlivet Code digital, augmented reality experience invites whisky connoisseurs aka participants to scan a code on the back of their bottle carton using the Shazam app to enter a virtual underground room. Then, they will be greeted by a hologram of The Glenlivet’s Master Distiller, Alan Winchester, who will challenge them to decode the taste of the liquid by selecting 4 aromas for the nose & 4 flavours for the palate from thousands of possible combinations.

Wow!! That’s challenging!!

Not yet, after decoding the flavours, all the participants will be given a score which they can post on their social media to see how they rank against their peers.

The official tasting notes won’t be revealed until the end of the year to give Single Malt enthusiasts the time to discover & enjoy the liquid themselves.
