How God Can Bless and Multiply You
“For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he could swear by no one greater, he swore by himself, saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” Thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise. For men indeed swear by a greater one, and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation. In this way God, being determined to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath; that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the veil; where as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.” (Hebrews 6:13-20 WEB)
God wanted Abraham to be absolutely sure that He would bless him, so He swore by Himself.
The truth that is impossible for God to lie and His sworn oath gives us a doubly confident hope of receiving His blessing as the seed of Abraham.
When tough times come, just remember that our God who cannot lie has sworn to bless and multiply you, and He is surely doing it.
Even when the world is floundering and men’s hearts are melting because of fear, we can remain stable and unshaken because Jesus is our anchor. He keeps us in shalom peace and leads us to navigate through any storm.
Right now in Heaven, Jesus our high priest is with the Father, praying for us, representing us before the Father.
Whereas the Levitical priesthood under the Law had curses upon those who disobey God’s laws, Jesus’ priesthood after the order of Melchizedek is one that only bestows blessings.
Melchizedek brought the bread and wine to Abraham, and blessed Abraham. In Christ, we are the seed of Abraham, and we can receive God‘s blessings through the same pattern.
Partaking of the Lord’s Supper is such a precious and important time of our day. As we set aside a minute in our day to proclaim the Lord’s death and what that accomplished for us, we benefit from His victory wrought at the cross.
“The cup of blessing which we bless, isn’t it a sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, isn’t it a sharing of the body of Christ?” (1 Corinthians 10:16 WEB)
The apostle Paul called it “the cup of blessing”. Could it be that when we partake, we receive the fulfillment of God’s oath to bless and multiply us? I believe so.
The blood and body of Christ are full of divine life, and when we receive that, we experience close fellowship and identification with Him. This means “I am as You are.” Whatever Jesus is, you also become and have.
If you are not already making the Lord’s Supper the highlight of every day, I encourage you to prioritize this token of Jesus’ love, and see what wonderful things happen in your life!
God has given us many powerful spiritual weapons in Christ that destroy Satanic strongholds, yokes, and bondages. Water is Coming to you
“He said, “Yahweh says, ‘Make this valley full of trenches.’ For Yahweh says, ‘You will not see wind, neither will you see rain, yet that valley will be filled with water, and you will drink, both you and your livestock and your other animals. This is an easy thing in Yahweh’s sight. He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand. You shall strike every fortified city, and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all springs of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.’” In the morning, about the time of offering the sacrifice, behold, water came by the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water. Now when all the Moabites heard that the kings had come up to fight against them, they gathered themselves together, all who were able to put on armor, young and old, and stood on the border. They rose up early in the morning, and the sun shone on the water, and the Moabites saw the water opposite them as red as blood. They said, “This is blood. The kings are surely destroyed, and they have struck each other. Now therefore, Moab, to the plunder!” When they came to the camp of Israel, the Israelites rose up and struck the Moabites, so that they fled before them; and they went forward into the land attacking the Moabites.” (2 Kings 3:16-24 WEB)
The Israel army coalition had no water to drink for seven days. They were thirsty and asked the prophet Elisha to inquire of the Lord Yahweh.
The Lord’s instruction was to make the valley full of trenches, in preparation to collect the water.
Yet you may wonder where is the water going to come from if there is no wind or rain?
Sometimes, when the Lord asks you to get into position, just do it without trying to reason it out.
He said to make the valley full of trenches, meaning GET READY TO RECEIVE.
How much water do you want to catch? The more trenches you dig, the more water you will store, if not the water will come, but it will just flow away.
The Lord allows you to choose how much you want to act upon His rhema word. If you have faith, you will make the valley of your life full of trenches, ready to receive from Him.
The water came by the way of Edom. It is not your job to know how the water comes. The point is, the water WILL come because the Lord has commanded it.
The water had a double purpose for the Israel coalition. It satiated their thirst, and it also became an important military tactic used by the Lord to defeat Israel’s enemies.
The water that you collect in the coming days will enable you to defeat enemies in your life.
Everyone’s “trenches” are different—you will know what yours is. Whatever the Lord has put into your heart to do, remember that you can choose how much water you will collect, based on how many trenches you make.
Do not waste time questioning, “How will the water come? How is it possible?” The water is coming so it is time to get in position!

Resurrection from the Dead
“Now if Christ is preached, that he has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised. If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith also is in vain. Yes, we are also found false witnesses of God, because we testified about God that he raised up Christ, whom he didn’t raise up, if it is so that the dead are not raised. For if the dead aren’t raised, neither has Christ been raised. If Christ has not been raised, your faith is vain; you are still in your sins. Then they also who are fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all men most pitiable. But now Christ has been raised from the dead. He became the first fruits of those who are asleep.” (1 Corinthians 15:12-20 WEB)
There seems to be more focus on Jesus’ death than on His resurrection.
However, His resurrection is extremely important too.
Jesus’ resurrection proves that He is the sinless Son of God who is the Christ.
If He was not truly sinless, Jesus would not be able to conquer death and be raised from the dead.
It is precisely because Jesus was raised from the dead, and His tomb remains empty today, that we know our sins are forgiven.
I had the privilege of stepping into His empty tomb in Jerusalem back in December of 2014. I went to Israel with Amilee and it was an amazing experience to see the holy land in person. The Bible truly came alive for me.
In the future, there will be a few phases of the resurrection from the dead.
Firstly, the dead in Christ will be raised at the time of the Rapture to receive their glorified bodies.
Next will be the “first resurrection” that happens at the end of the Great Tribulation, whereby those saints who died during the Tribulation will be raised to eternal life.
Lastly, the final resurrection happens before the “Great White Throne Judgment”, whereby the dead unbelievers throughout all time, those saints who died during the Millennium, and the Nephilim giants, will be resurrected to stand before Jesus’ throne to be judged. Fallen angels (demons) will also be there to be judged but they will not need to be resurrected because they are spirits.
“Jesus answered, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can’t enter into God’s Kingdom. That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Don’t marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born anew.’” (John 3:5-7 WEB)
If you are born twice in this life—once in the flesh, and once through the Spirit, you will only die once (sharing in Christ’s death at the cross).
“I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them. I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works. Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. If anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:11-15 WEB)
If you are only born once, you will die twice (once upon bodily death, and once during the Great White Throne Judgment, after being raised from the dead).
Christ has been raised from the dead. Your faith is neither futile, nor in vain!
Where does a believer go upon death now, what is the geographical layout of Heaven, and what will happen in the future as written in the Bible (Millennium, New Jerusalem)? Find out in “A Tour of Heaven and Eternity”: https://bit.ly/heavenandeternity

Mofongo is an Afro- Puerto Rican dish with fried plantains as its main ingredient. Plantains are picked green and mashed with salt and water in a wooden pilón, a kitchen device also known as mortar and pestle. The object is to produce a tight ball of mashed plantains that would absorb the attending condiments and have either pork cracklings (Chicharrón) or bits of bacon inside. Most dressings and mixtures include broth, garlic, and olive oil. It is traditionally served with fried meat and chicken broth soup. Particular flavors result from variations that include vegetables, chicken, shrimp, beef, or octopus packed inside or around the plantain orb.
Mofongo evolved from fufu using African method with Spanish and Taíno ingredients. Plantains are most often used, but other starchy roots native to the island used by Taínos can also be used. Puerto Ricans have an obsession with fried food known collectively as cuchifrito in New York City and Kiosks in Puerto Rico. The usage of Spanish ingredients such as pork, garlic, broth, and olive oil together is heavily used in Puerto Rican cuisine. Staple dishes such as arroz con gandules, alcapurria, pasteles, habichuelas, recaíto, arroz junto and many other dishes all include garlic, pork, olive oil, and broth. The method of frying comes from the African side and is heavily used more than anyplace in the Caribbean. Broth is often made with chicken and sofrito. Sofrito is made with Spanish and Taíno fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
In Cuba, Mofongo is called Machuquillo "por la acción de machucar el plátano en el mortero" (because of the task of mashing the plantains in the mortar). The plantains are not fried but boiled. Machuquillo is often garnished with parsley and served with roasted pork or chicken.
During the 1960s many Dominicans who feared the dictatorship of Rafael Trujillo fled to Puerto Rico and New York City. Mofongo caught on quickly with Dominicans living in Puerto Rico and New York City. Mofongo has become a flagship food for many Dominican restaurant adding their own flavors such as queso frito (fried cheese) to mofongo, mashed with no broth and sometimes olive oil is replace with butter. The plantains in making traditional mofongo are not always fried, they are sometimes boiled, shaped into a ball and stuffed with meat. During the 1960s mofongo started to appear in Dominican cookbook's. Mofongo stuffed with shrimp (camaron in Spanish) is called camarofongo.
