WAU!室内乐团 (马来西亚)
WAU!室内乐团成立于2015年，汇合马来西亚土生土长的华乐青年专业演奏人才，冀望通过融合传统与现代华乐室内乐演奏，打造出属于马来西亚新颖独特与多元化的声音。WAU是马来西亚一种极具特色的传统马来风筝，以此为名寓意着WAU!室内乐团在扎根传统的同时，不忘“往前飞”。
WAU!室内乐团的演出人员分别是王惜盈（古筝）、沈得信（琵琶）、王美颐（中阮）、林慧芳（二胡）、陈永耀（扬琴）、陈玟君（笛）及张俊勇（打击乐）。成员们分别毕业于北京、台湾及马来西亚的音乐院校，其中不乏在国内外多项大奖赛中夺冠的演奏家。目前大部分成员们亦是本土华乐教育工作者，致力于推广与提高本地华乐艺术。

WAU! Ensemble (Malaysia)
The WAU! Ensemble was established in 2015 by a group of like-minded young Chinese music professionals from Malaysia who desired to showcase Chinese chamber music ranging from traditional Chinese music to contemporary avant-grade interpretations to create their very own sonic landscape. The name WAU has its origins in the traditional Malaysian kite and was purposefully chosen to reflect the ensemble’s aspirations for continued innovation while staying true to its Malaysian roots.
The performers of the ensemble are Sara Heng (Guzheng), Sim Teck Sing (Pipa), Mayyi Ong(Ruan), Panda Lim(Erhu), Tan Yong Yaw (Yangqin), Win Tan(Dizi) and Jimmy Chong(Percussion), all of whom play different musical instruments. The seven of them were high caliber graduates of renowned conservatories in China, Taiwan & Malaysia, having garnered many accolades in prestigious competitions across the Asia Pacific region. The majority of them have returned to Malaysia to teach Chinese music in order to promote and further the Chinese art form among the Malaysian Chinese population.
