【質感100分的Collins Cup宣傳影片】

月底就是Collins cup賽事了，最近也有一系列官方影片宣傳，這個類似紀錄片的拍攝手法還有配樂，我覺得真的很棒，片雖長但很有趣！

主要是三個主角，個性完全迥異的三人，也分別代表三個TEAM，包括美國隊的Heather Jackson，她也是目前美國女子IM距離的最快成績紀錄保持人，8時39分18秒。 個性就是個大喇喇，全身刺青帶點搖滾風格，最近還剃了個大光頭，是非常有個人特色的選手！

加拿大的Lionel Sanders，代表的是國際隊。不用多說，跟瘋子一樣的訓練，也只相信自己，Sebastian Kienle形容他是可以把自己逼到死的人，甚至以逼死自己為樂。片頭前段有一部份在談Lionel怎麼經歷過吸毒與勒戒，並透過三鐵重新走出新的人生。

以前曾有個蠻有名的選手跟我聊過，他很討厭Lionel Sanders，根本就是亂搞也不聽別人或教練勸告的人。 我當時為他講話，如果你知道他曾有過黑歷史的過去就能明白，要戒毒真的就是靠自己意志力，別人是無法幫助你太多的，當自己征服過那一段痛苦並且也成功戒斷，人格特質裡就會多了個更加相信命運是掌握在自己手裡的堅定，他偶爾也會尋求專業幫助，但到頭來還是會回到自己所相信的訓練哲理中。我認為這樣也很好玩，訓練本來就不會是個SOP，有一定的標準程序，他越瘋狂，這運動才越好玩。

Sebastian Kienle代表歐洲隊，是我接觸三鐵後，最早迷上的一個選手，他當時在2012年IRONMAN 70.3 world championship的單車狂刷人家卡的影片，至今仍讓我難忘（來～傳送門在此：https://youtu.be/Rimk6m1eaFk?t=24)。
無奈的是，經年累月征戰下來，他其實身上也不少傷，常導致狀況不穩定甚至直接DNF掉，但只要他沒狀況，看他騎車是種享受。

這支影片，不只讓選手談談內心事與對比賽的期望，也有一些幹話讓影片元素更多元，像是在我所切的22:00處，有一段Sebastian Kienle與Lionel Sanders的對話是精華，建議收看！

補充：Sebastian的三個世界冠軍頭銜分別是2012, 2013 IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion與2014 IRONMAN World Champion。而Lionel的唯一一個是2017 ITU Long Distance Triathlon World Champion。 至於Jan Frodeno，一共7個世界冠軍，從奧運、ITU、IM703、IM全包。

At first, I really wanted Folk to pursue Pai. I like Folk for some reasons. Perhaps he looks like my super crush - Director P'New. In fact, it's only the 2nd time, I wanted a "third party" to win over a Lead's heart. Well, the 1st time was in Dark Blue and Moonlight. I would love for Su Hai to choose Chen Pai instead of Yan Fei.

Anyway, towards the latter part my heart got happy that it could be Pure and Folk who will eventually end up together. At least no one will be hurt in the end. Unlike in the Dark Blue and Moonlight.

OMG, sorry about this - my heart suddenly felt super duper sad remembering Dark Blue and Moonlight. Wait let me cry for a moment.😭💔

Okay, let's get back to business. I'm super excited for Episode 9! Did you see the teaser? Itt will be super jealous when Folk asks Pai to be his boyfriend. And that scene when Itt gets Pai's hand and places it at his heart. OMG, I can't wait for next Monday!

But - if Itt will still decide to hide his true feelings for Pai. I would want Pai to choose Folk and be happy with each other. Let Itt find his happiness with someone else. Maybe Itt can fall for Pure instead.😂 I guess with this ending, this series will surely be the talk of the town. Why not, right? Just for a change.😊

Taiwan has been an amazing place to live in for the past 10 years. But even after an entire decade, it still does not feel like home. In this video I'm talking about my personal mindset towards Taiwan and why I haven't been able to "feel like home" here in Taiwan, although many of my foreign friends seem to be able to do this without a problem. Should also warn you that there will be a few tears towards the end of this video 😭.

It's been quite awhile since my last upload and the previous uploads were very gear focused too. Wanted to talk about something I've been thinking a lot for awhile. Creativity often times has been used as crutch to shield ourselves from negative feedback or descriptions of our work that we don't necessarily like. We see it all them in comments and sometimes in our own responses. Awhile back I posted a video about mistakes street photographers are making and some people took it a little too personally and reached out saying how I shouldn't gate keep things and that I didn't know what I was talking about.

I think a lot of these reactions, sometimes including my own, stem from insecurities that we might have towards our work and maybe, in ourselves. Would love to know what you think about this

This episode we are exploring the city of Kyoto! I have to say it is the most unique and once in a lifetime experience to be able to shoot in Kyoto without any tourist or even locals.
Last visit to Kyoto I couldn't believe how empty it was, so since I was in Kyoto for work, I really wanted to take a day off to show you all how things look like during the pandemic and how empty the streets are.
