Good luck is naturally good fortune come knocking on your door, while bad luck is a manifestation of your karmic obstacles.

Many people hold on this idea: As long as I do good and stay positive, I will be able to get through all difficulties smoothly. There is no need to care about good or bad luck.

From the surface, this thinking seems to be changing your Destiny without going against the will of Heaven. However, in my humble opinion, this is just armchair strategy. It is a one-dimensional view of Destiny and having a one-sided view of the Universe's laws.

Think about this, if drifting along with the current, and just wait for your Destiny to mete out luck to you, why did Mr Yuen Liao Fan of the Ming dynasty wrote the masterpiece "The Four Lessons of Liao Fan", which had been passed down for generations?

Many people had read this book, and mistakenly think that Mr Yuan Liao Fan turned his Destiny around by merely performing virtuous deeds.

If you are one of them, I strongly encourage you to reread this book, which is renowned as the No. 1 wondrous motivational book of the Orient. This will avoid distortion of the truth and you will realise how you have underestimated Mr Yuan Liao Fan, who demonstrated great bravery and diligence in creating his own happiness and bright future.

Wisdom of the Ant

While walking home today, I saw these ants building their ant hill. Each ant carried one grain of soil at a time, patiently stacking the hill, going back and forth, with great consistency. It was amazing to watch.

““There are four things which are little on the earth, but they are exceedingly wise: the ants are not a strong people, yet they provide their food in the summer.” (Proverbs‬ ‭30:24-25‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

One thing about ants: they never seem to procrastinate. They are consistently diligent all year round, and that is why they never lack food in any season. God put this wisdom into them to teach us about these virtues.

“Go to the ant, you sluggard. Consider her ways, and be wise; which having no chief, overseer, or ruler, provides her bread in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest. How long will you sleep, sluggard? When will you arise out of your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: so your poverty will come as a robber, and your scarcity as an armed man.” (Proverbs‬ ‭6:6-11‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

You can learn very practical lessons from the ant. Are you consistently investing time into developing your income-earning craft—the one that God has blessed you with?

Another thing is gathering up God’s word. The ant is tiny, but wise in its consistency and diligence. If you take in grains of God’s word (specifically the Gospel of Grace) each day, whenever you can, it actually builds up into a ‘hill’.

This hill is able to provide shelter for yourself and others from the heat of the world, and is also a layer of protection from your spiritual enemies.

No matter what distractions come your way, if you will just go back and forth taking in revelations about Jesus into your heart, garrisoning your heart with godly thoughts, you will not lack anything during the heat of summer, nor the bitter cold of winter. You will be well-prepared and supplied in every season.

My name is Natalie and I’m an analyst at AppWorks. I definitely don’t claim to be an expert on entrepreneurship, given that I’m not a founder myself, but I was hoping that by sharing our experiences with building the accelerator program from nothing to over 1,300 founders in our ecosystem, perhaps you might be able to draw some insight or inspiration for your own products or communities. 【真佛密法的實證】(English version below)

1999年農曆八月十五早上七點，我皈依了聖尊蓮生活佛。今天是我的二十歲生日。

回顧這些自己在，時光的洪流中，隨着業力掙扎蛻變的照片，由衷的感恩，吾之根本傳承上師，聖尊蓮生活佛，大慈大悲的救渡，讓吾在這一世，還能聽聞甚深的佛法，且還能修習完整的密法，眞的是佛恩浩大啊!

祂也讓吾明白，佛經中述及的不可思議。從祂的傳法中，祂教會吾什麼是慈悲，什麼是勇猛精進，什麼是長養菩提心，如何從俗走向聖，如何截斷欲望的洪流，次第淺進的明心見性、自主生死、還本帰元。

爲了报达佛恩於萬一，吾願意以過去不堪入目的醜態，來證明眞佛密法，的实在修持，眞的能够讓吾等眾生，由濁到淨，永斷生死苦海，徹底的解脫，還本帰元。

On the 15th day of the 8th Lunar Month, at 7am, I took refuge in His Holiness Living Buddha. Today is my 20th birthday.

As I reminisced over these photographs, and witnessed my karmic metamorphosis over the passage of time, I am deeply grateful to my Root Guru, His Holiness Living Buddha Lian Sheng, for His greatly compassionate salvation, such that in this lifetime of mine, I can hear the profound Dharma and study and practice a complete tantric Dharma practice. This is truly great grace from the Buddha!

He also enlightens me on the inconceivables in the Buddhist sutras. In His Dharma propagation, He had taught me what is compassion, courage and diligence and what it means to cultivate Bodhicitta for long. He also showed me how to walk the Path of Transformation from a mortal to a sage. He imparts Dharma wisdom on how to end the continuous deluge of mortal desires, and advance on the path to Enlightenment in sequence, gain autonomy in birth and death and returning to Source.

In order to repay the Buddha’s Grace, I am most willing to disclose my ugly self of the past and be the living proof that the True Buddha Tantric Practices thoroughly transformed me, from turbidity to purity, giving me salvation from the suffering Sea of Life and Death. A thorough liberation, a return to Source.

妳你昨天已經開始唸了嗎？

吾指的，是南無本師釋迦摩尼佛傳下來的報父母恩咒。

顧名思義，這報父母恩咒能夠報答養育我們這一世的父母，但它不祇是報這一世而已，它的功德能夠讓我們七世父母獲得超生。

這報父母恩咒，玳瑚師父已唸了至少15年，直到昨天初一仍在唸。

我們的父母，我們的七世父母，我們的祖先，就會因爲這個報父母恩咒，獲得業障消除，智慧增長，而一層一層，一世一世的，一個境界一個境界的，上上上上上，到達脫出了三惡道，又或者是六道，慢慢的，慢慢的就會到達更好的境界。

報父母恩，是爲人子女，一定要的，因爲這個是一種本，我們做人本來就不應該忘本。沒有父母的精跟卵，就不能夠形成我們這個軀殼出來。沒有這個軀殼出來，我們的靈識依然漂浮不定，不能夠修行，不能夠所謂的升格，而依然在一種陰暗的境界裡面，大鬼欺小鬼等等等，受業力的果報，不能夠離苦得樂。

所以父母的恩，是給了我們這個軀殼能夠修行，是很大的恩。因此有一句話說，父母恩如大海，師恩如宇宙。

如果不能夠報父母恩的人，這個人他本來的人格就已經是失敗的。那自己有家庭後，生出來的孩子，因爲因緣的關係，也是一個不孝的孩子。大家要三思，修出智慧來，你就自然而然，能夠對以往的種種事情，豁然地能夠知道很多很多的道理。你就能夠明白，就能夠出苦得樂。

祝大家精勤的，每一年農曆七月初一到卅（或廿九），每天唸49遍的報父母恩咒，迴向給你們現世和七世父母，大家一同往生快樂的佛國淨土，永遠離苦得樂。

如果有一天因爲工作繁忙，加班或生病，那一天忘了或不能夠持，隔天可以提早起來，再補上昨天的那49遍，也就是說隔天必需得唸兩次49遍，記得不可以中斷，這樣就會功德圓滿。

Have you started your recitation yesterday?

I am referring to the Mantra of Repaying Parents' Kindness, as imparted by Shakyamuni Buddha.

As the name indicated, this mantra can repay our gratitude to our parents of this lifetime. But it does not stop at there. Its merits are great enough to bless our parents from our past 7 lives, with a rebirth to the Pureland.

Master Dai Hu has been reciting this mantra for at least 15 years, and still did it yesterday on the first day of the 7th Lunar Month.

With the merits from this mantra, our parents of this and past 7 lives, and our ancestors, can have their negative karma eradicated and gain an increase in their wisdom. One level by one level, one lifetime by one lifetime, one realm by one realm, it will upwards all the way, till they can break away from the Three Evil Realms, or the six realms of reincarnation. Gradually, they will gain rebirth in a better world.

It is the duty of all children to repay the debt of gratitude to their parents. They are the roots of our origin. As human beings, we must not forget where we came from. Without the egg and sperm from our parents, we will have no physical shell. Without this physical body, our consciousness will be drifting. We will be unable to cultivate to the next higher level, resigned to wandering in a gloomy and dark realm, where there is ghost bullying and going where karma takes us.

We will not be able to break away from suffering and attain bliss. Therefore, our parents have shown much kindness in giving us this physical body for us to cultivate. It is a great debt of gratitude. Hence, the saying: The kindness of our parents is as wide as the ocean, while the kindness of our teachers is as vast as the universe.

When a person does not repay his parents' kindness, he would have failed in upholding his status as a human. Under such conditions, when he has children, they would also be unfilial.

Please think over this wisely, everybody. You must cultivate your wisdom. By then, you would naturally understand the many truth in all that have happened to you before, and be able to attain eternal bliss, leaving the cycle of sufferings.

I wish diligence upon every one of you. Please recite this mantra 49 times daily, from Day 1 to Day 30 every 7th Lunar month. Dedicate the merits to your parents from this and past 7 lives. May they together be reborn in the Pureland of happiness, and attain eternal bliss with no suffering.

If you miss out one day of recitation, due to work, forgetfulness or illness, you can wake up earlier the next day to recite that 49 times. In other words, you would have to do 2 sets of 49 times that day. Don't stop the cycle, so that your merits for your parents will be complete.
