Trick or Treat! 🎃 We don’t celebrate Halloween but it’s still fun to play dress up! This boy has been so, SO happy the whole day as Jack-o-Lantern, excitedly parading his costume to everybody in Children’s Church. Think ever since his little brother entered into his life, he hasn’t really had any special spotlight on him for a while. So today he felt extra special because everyone noticed his outfit and complimented him a lot 😌 What @boon10 and I learned is that while it’s important to care for the younger child, it’s even more vital that we make sure the elder child is receiving attention still, perhaps even more than before. We noticed that he’s extra happy today, having his “own” outfit and “identity”. When we removed his suit, he said, “Awwww I’m not a pumpkin anymore 🥺”. So the next time you gush over a cute little baby, remember to spare some time to notice the elder sibling too. It makes a world of difference for them ♥️ Thank you @marksandspencer_my for sending these costumes for @tylerjayng and @lucasjedng, along with the Trick or Treat basket and goodies too!
