EA และ DICE ได้เปิดเผยกำหนดสำหรับการเปิดให้ทดสอบ Open Beta ของ Battlefield 2042 พร้อมกันนี้ ยังได้เปิดเผยสเปค PC สำหรับการเล่น Battlefield 2042 ในช่วง Beta ด้วย โดยมีรายละเอียดดังนี้

โดย Battlefield 2042 จะเปิด Open Beta ให้ทดลองเล่นฟรี ในวันที่ 6 - 9 ต.ค. นี้

ซึ่งจะแบ่งเป็นรอบผู้ที่สั่งจองเกมล่วงหน้าหรือเป็นสมาชิก EA Play วันที่ 6 - 7 ต.ค. และเปิดให้ทุกคนได้ทดลองเล่นฟรี ในวันที่ 8 - 9 ต.ค. ซึ่งจะเริ่มเปิดให้ Pre-load ไฟล์เกมในวันที่ 5 ต.ค.

Nintendo ประกาศเปิดตัว Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack ซึ่งเป็นแพ็คเกจพิเศษเพิ่มเติม สำหรับสมาชิก Nintendo Switch Online ที่ทำให้สามารถเล่นเกมต่างๆ จาก Nintendo 64 และ Sega Genesis (หรือ Mega Drive) เพิ่มได้ (แต่ก็ต้องเสียค่าสมาชิกเพิ่มเติมด้วย) โดยมีกำหนดออกในช่วงปลายเดือน ต.ค. นี้
