GREATEST RESPONSE FROM MANTRA RECITATION

Today is the 15th day of the 7th Lunar month, and also marks my 15th day of this year's recitation of the Mantra to Repay Debt of Gratitude to Parents.
To clear everybody's doubts on this mantra, I did 2 Youtube Lives and answered a total of 44 questions.
Including my replies to the comment section, I should have answered about 49 questions. How perfect~
This must be my karmic retribution. When I was young, I was that kid with a million questions and my favourite book was the encyclopaedia 😅😂🤣
The adults would ask why a little girl would have so many questions. Thankfully, this "gender discrimination" did not kill off my thirst for knowledge. 🧐😁😉
These few days, I have been receiving comments from some viewers who have been reciting this mantra. Some begin to have better family relations, some have unexpected results (💰), while some dream of their deceased parents.
A few years ago, I received a similar PM. After reciting the mantra, a young male undergrad client dreamt of his father who passed away due to sickness. His dream was long and very vivid, and he could clearly see his father living as usual in the dream. When he woke up from his dream, he was very emotional and wrote a PM to thank me.
For any dream of your deceased parents, as long as they are not showing signs of suffering in the dream, generally it should be a positive dream and also shows that your deceased parents have received the merits of your recitation.
(Well, how much merits your recitation generate is another story for another day~)
Some readers may feel that such dreams may be a result of overthinking in the daytime. However, it's not like everyone can dream of their deceased parents even if they want to. If such dreams can encourage the children to continue their mantra recitation, isn't it a good thing?
I have recited this mantra for 15 years and have never had such responses like my audience. Ever since I decided to do this "thankless" job 😁, I have been greatly favoured by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. ❤️
When I was penniless, my parents would always have sufficient money to see the doctor when they fall sick.
When I was too busy to visit them, or accompany them to the doctor, they are able to go themselves or accompanied by someone.
At this point in time, they are relatively healthy. Amitabha. 🙏
When I was a kid, I was most afraid of my parents dying and I would be left an orphan. As I grew up, I understood impermanence. Apart from praying for their good health, I wish for them to leave this world with no pain and illness when their time is up, and be delivered by Buddha.
In front of the altar, I once made an aspiration for all my merits to be dedicated to my parents. But please don't think I am filial. I was once very unfilial and this is my insignificant effort at making up. 😬
Every family has its own problems. Even an upright official will find it hard to judge family matters.
Not every child can enjoy good family relations with his/her parents. There are many karmic entanglements involved in this equation, and the disharmony isn't easily resolved just because one party decides to be nicer to the other party.
I am happy for you when you benefit from reciting this Mantra to Repay Debt of Gratitude to Parents.
Seeking miraculous response shouldn't be the goal of mantra recitation.
I am very happy that you are receiving the benefits of reciting this Mantra to Repay Debt of Gratitude to Parents! One should not wish for supernatural phenomena by reciting the Buddha's name/mantra/sutra. The most important aim is to modulate your own heart. If the Mara in your heart is not subdued, you are bound to fail in your quest for Dharma.
Once this month of reciting the Mantra to Repay Debt of Gratitude to Parents is over, should you still remember the toils of your parents and strive to not let them down by contributing more as well as adhering to the precepts, I will think this is your greatest harvest indeed.

I wrote this two years ago when Ella Grace was just teeny tiny and accidentally reread it this morning thanks to FB! I'm sharing this here if this is your season right now, if you're in the thick of the mothering and the caring and the nursing and the sleepless worrying in awe amazing crazy nights.
It really does go by so fast so fast. I blinked, and Ella Grace has just turned three.
Hold on tight mamas, soak it all in.
You got this! <3
I still check to see if she's breathing. Late at night or while she's napping in the car or her crib or on our bed when she falls asleep and the room is too quiet and I miss her. Ironic isn't it? That I would miss her while treasuring this precious me time?
I keep trying to write her a birthday letter, of all the things I want her to know and how so very proud I am of her. How she has molded and shaped and changed so many parts of me and how I am braver, stronger, more vulnerable and completely humbled by her. How this was just a dream a long time ago and how reality has far exceeded anything I ever imagined of what life with our teeny tiny lovebug would be like.
Oh sweet Ella Bella, I keep trying to write but words fail me. Mama's heart fails me because it gets in the way and all I can think of is it's moving so so fast and I am so in love with our now.
So for now, I just soak it all in again and again. Unblinking. Arrested. Present. Mama wants to remember it all.
The way you cock your head to the side and smile the sweetest smile, the way you throw back your head in laughter, the way you run in for a hug, mamamamamamama.
The way you just learned how to spin and you think you're the coolest person ever, this silly surprised in awe look you make. The way you think you're making a thumbs up sign for good but really you're just pointing and waving with your index finger so it looks more like you're scolding everyone or the way your brain has suddenly exploded w all these words and how you understand so so many things and you are like a little bossy determined ridiculously cute tiny girl running around.
Because soon too soon, you will be in a new chapter, you'll grow even taller, and get even bigger and I will miss these moments of when you were so tiny and so precious and I would wish I could go back and take one more picture, nurse you again, cuddle cuddle cuddle the way you like to or strap in mama's little roo into this safe pocket of you and me.
Tonight I gave you your last ever breastmilk bath. I stopped pumping when we went on holiday to Phuket so so many months ago, less to carry I told myself at that time, a little mama break in our beautiful resort not realizing that I would just continue to nurse you exclusively when we came home and just like that, a new chapter.
These are just the leftovers that I had frozen before. I used to obsessively store for a rainy day when you were a teeny tiny, worry and worry but you're a big girl now, you eat and love and devour your big girl meals that I worry less that you will starve to death if anything happens to mama and you have no milk. Morbid isn't it?
But I've since learned that that's what mamas do. They plan and they worry and they plan some more. They try to think five hundred and seventy four steps ahead with a plan b and c and d and e. I think mama brain isn't because your brain cells have died in the growing bump and the birthing and the caring, I think mama brain is because my brain is so so busy constantly running to remember all these little details of you - the last time you ate, when you need to be diapered, that red patch that might be nothing or might be something, your play dates this week, if I have enough groceries to make you a nutritious meal, if I packed your diaper bag w your current favorite toy, if I've restocked and washed and sanitized your room, and the list goes on and on and on as it takes over the finite space in my head for thinking and is the low background hum and song to all my thoughts.
It is why I lose my sentence in the middle of a conversation, because one half of my concentration is trying to figure out where you are and if you can hurt yourself and the other part is planning planning always planning and the last part is where was I again?
I watch you sleeping, measuring that your chest rises and falls, as a part of my heart lives and breathes out of my body, laughing to myself and the world because of course I took a picture of you and your tiny little dramatic hands over your face as if to say ohmygodmamapleasestaaaaahhhppppppp.
I love you kid. To the moon and back and so much more.
You, you are and forever will be one of daddy and mama's so very favorite love songs.
Xx

Welcome to our Japan Takayama travel vlog PART 2! right now I really miss Japan so bad especially the food! I have to divide my Japan trip into several episodes because the trip has too much to share lol! growing up as an Asian kid I had a lot of fantasy with Japanese culture, I enjoyed reading Japanese Manga and Japanese TV Drama like Doraemon, Ranma, Slam Dunk, Dragon Ball, Detective Conan, GTO and the BeachBoy by Ryoko Hirosue!
In this episode we will see a lot about Takayama, Hirayu Onsen and Kyoto’s living culture! It is still hard to believe that I saw Koi fish in the Takayama’s ditch! This is my first Onsen experience in my life, naked! I thought I would be fine but I was super shy! Hirayu Onsen was awesome, it was beyond amazing, imagine you are on top of a snow mountain, surrounded by trees while enjoying some hot Onsen under a freezing weather!
Japanese is very pious, we visited a lot of historical temples and we also helped our friends and family prayed for health and fortune. My Japan dream has finally come true! I can't wait to share the entire Japan vacation with you all! (if you ever been in Japan, do share your interesting experience here to be a way for those who plan to travel in Japan!) I hope you enjoy watching this and see you in PART 3!

Some say it worth every penny we spent in Japan, it is true! the moment we got off the plane(Kansai Airport) every passengers's luggage had been neatly lined up! this is when efficiency is unbelievable! also we lost our way in Nagoya, there were a good policeman walked us from the train station to our hotel! we shook hands and he bowed us goodbye! OMG!
To experience the culture of Japanese, we used airbnb and lived in the Japanese house. There were many cultural differences while staying in a Japanese's home, yet we enjoyed it so much because we were able to experienced how the Japanese live. My Japan dream has finally come true! have you ever had a dream kid 在 JinnyboyTV Youtube 的精選貼文
Ever since I was a child, I had a goal...
A naive but hopeful dream, that when I grow up,
I'd like to be someone who would make a difference in this world...
Growing up in a developing city like KL, I do agree that Malaysia,
isn't like one of the big and formidable countries, if you wanna compare...
But I believe, things are evidently changing in today's generation,
Children are technologically more savvy than most average adults,
They know how the world works, even before puberty,
They dream bigger dreams, than we ever dared to when we were their age...
Being a nation of different cultures and up bringing,
I still believe we have something that binds us together,
"The Boleh Spirit".
We turn the page to a new era, a new world we call the World Wide Web,
Through Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or any other social network, we listen to the voices of the people...
Despite our different goals, I'm sure we have one common goal of putting Malaysia the map.
Traveling to different parts of the world has shine a new light on my perspective...
I discover the similarities we all have, despite the fact that there are 7 billion of us in this world...
We all fall in love, just like everyone else...
We are inquisitive, with the hunger for knowledge...
And sometimes the kid inside us, just wants to be careless and free.
There is a theory that everyone in this world, is connected to anyone,
through a chain of acquaintances of not more than 6 links. They call this the 6 degrees of separation.
It's fascinating to know that we are all, 5 friends away from being acquainted to a random stranger in a train in South Korea...
Or even a tuk yuk driver from Thailand...
This shows that we are all relatable to one another,
that our culture and influence can make a difference in this world.
And that Malaysians have a voice of our own
And we should spread our Boleh spirit to the world
Let us embrace the differences we all have, and unite as Malaysians with the Boleh spirit.
And continue to strive to put Malaysia on the world's stage.
Malaysians Can! Malaysians Boleh!
