Di sebalik anugerah ini tersiratnya banyak kisah benar, memang Wincci Tak dilahirkan cerdik mahupun mempunyai nasib yang baik, masih ingat pada peringkat awal Wincci menceburi bidang seni, Wincci tekad nak masuk pasaran Melayu di samping nak mempertingkatkan tahap ilmu Wincci, walaupun Masa itu semua beritahu Wincci bahawa susah utk kaum bukan melayu utk masuk dan juga susah utk seimbangkan pelajaran dan pekerjaan. Tapi Wincci Tak peduli dan buatkan dengan sepenuh hati. Lepas berjaya masuk dan mendapat PhD pertama, banyak yg suruh Wincci pula utk settle down tapi Wincci tekad nak berjuang ke tahap yg lebih tinggi kat luar, jadi Wincci lepaskan semua di Malaysia dan melangkah keluar Secara senyap, Masa itu semua dah Ingat Wincci dah gila, kena halau dari rumah, kena turun kerja dari bawah kat luar dan kena bersaing bermula dari pelajar sampai yuran dan sewa kena hutang malahan pula ditikam oleh orang yg dikenali, namun Wincci belajar banyak dan menemui insan yg betul sejati yg galakkan Wincci agar teruskan, Wincci Faham bahawa sekarang memang lebih banyak yg sedang mengalami kesusahan tapi Kita kenalah lebih kuat dan bersemanggat, Kita teruskan apa yg Kita patut, walaupun susah tapi berbaloi ;)

每一个奖项都隐藏着很多故事，当初刚刚入行时很多人都告诉我华人很难进马来市场，很多人也说艺人不需要高学历。可是我还是不理会，只尽力默默做好自己想要的。一步步进入马来市场然后得到我的第一个博士后，很多人又叫我安分的settle down. 有一次我不顾一切，放下马来西亚一切，去到国外从学生开始，当下被骂，被背叛又背着债务，还是咬紧牙根继续走下去，看到很多人的真面目也认清楚谁是真心的人，现在我知道很多人都可能比我更困难，可是我们大家不能放弃，跌倒了，我们更强的爬起来，因为我们不能让看不起我们的人赢，也不能让坏人得逞，我们一起继续吧！

When I first embarked my career in the entertainment field, many told me that it was hard for non malays to enter the malay market and celebrities do not need high education. Well trust me I didn't listen and just focus on my own dream. After entering into the malay market and gotten my phd, once again I challenge myself by letting go all back home and start from student out there. I was being scolded, betrayed and was bearings loads of debts. I just kept pushing till today, I know alot more are having hard times now but let's don't give up and keep going !

About Kumi Koda

In 2000, precedential to debut in Japan, she made her debut in the U.S. with her first single “TAKE BACK” under the name of “KODA”
It ranked in at Billboard Dance-Pop Sales Chart as high as 18th place ranked up from its initial 20th place.
In the same year, she debuted in Japan as well and started her career as a professional singer.

Her 16th single “Butterfly” pushed her name up in the industry by winning the Japan Record Award, which is one of the best honored music awards in Japan.
Following the preceding event, Kumi Koda won many more awards and established her place as a top singer in Japan.

Not only in domestically,
But also she has worked with many great international artists such as Sean Paul and Far East Movement since they fell for Kumi Koda’s artistic talents.

From 2005 to today 2020, she has continuously kept performing live for her fans.
