Thanks Shimoda Design let me try the Shimoda Explore v2 at the first time, I own Action X50 and X70 myself, both are very great for shooting, as I always carry 2 systems camera for hiking. After using few times of Explore v2 E35 Liters, the material as tough as Action X series. One of new update is the breathable shoulder and waist strap is great for hot weather, and I love the leather zipper pulls, makes the bag more fashionable, It fits US Carry–On size, no worry for any travel.

I spent the past week away from the camera and instead, with the people and things closest to my heart ❤️ I picked up hiking during Phase 2 HA and I realised it’s quite therapeutic to go on long walks, as I continue to reflect, learn and grow.

It’s been almost 10 years since I’ve embarked on my journey as a host since my uni days. It’s a good checkpoint for myself to take stock of everything that has led me to where I am today.

To everyone who has offered words of encouragement and support throughout this journey, I want to say that I am truly grateful for each and every one of you.

Now with the rest of 2021 ahead of me, I would like to take with me all I have learnt from the last 10 years and do better for the next 10 years.

Pictures of Bukit Besi in fall colours popped out frequently on social media, I decided the check it out. The hill had a fire during the dry season, which left a small part of the hill burnt and the leaves were turning brown.

The hill was located at Alam Damai, which isn't too far away. I went on a weekday to avoid the crowd, I probably had less than 10 human contacts.

The hike was a short 4km with about 300m elevation gain. I did try to get to the waterfall but the trail was barricaded with barbed wire and a warning sign post. There goes my plan to try out the stove. There were a lot of mosquitos which made the shoot pretty unpleasant.

With travel temporarily halted, we decided to explore the hidden gems within Singapore. Join us as we explore Thomson Nature Park, the 50-hectare buffer park unique for its rich cultural heritage as the site of a former Hainan Village. Thomson Nature Park is also home to a rich array of biodiversity and is notably a key conservation site for the critically endangered Raffles’ Banded Langur.

There are five trails within this park: Ruins and Figs Trail (1.50km), Streams and Ferns Trail (1.40km), Rambutan Trail (0.40km), Langur Trail (0.35km), and Macaque Trail (0.15km). Although we weren't fortunate enough to spot the elusive Raffles' Banded Langur on our multiple trips here, we did manage to catch wild boars and plenty of cheeky macaques.

May our videos be a form of escapism and source of zen for you, and encourage you to appreciate the little, simple things in life. Even in these turbulent times, there is still much beauty in this world if we keep our hearts and minds open.
