夏天陽氣旺盛,養生之道在於消暑,不少人更着重防曬,進行戶外活動除了穿著防曬衣物、塗抹防曬霜,亦可靠食物進行內在美白療程,多進食含豐富維他命C的食物,例如奇異果、士多啤梨、番石榴、車厘子及木瓜等,有助預防黑斑形成及淡化黑色素。水果宜新鮮即切即食,因切後水果的維他命C與空氣接觸後會氧化而失去功效。
奇異果 — 性寒,有清熱生津、健脾、利尿作用,有助紓緩無胃口、消化不良、欲吐、痔瘡等症狀。注意女士脾胃虛寒容易腹瀉、有寒性痛經不宜多服。
士多啤梨 — 性寒,具消暑解熱、生津止渴、利咽潤肺及健脾胃功效。士多啤梨同時含有大量果膠及纖維,亦有暢便功效。但注意脾胃虛寒者勿吃。
番石榴 — 又名芭樂,性熱,具止瀉止痢功效,尤其適合容易反覆腹瀉、風寒濕痛者、高血壓及胃酸過多者食用;有收斂止瀉功效,便秘者不宜進食。由於性熱,多吃容易上火。
車厘子 — 又名櫻桃,性熱,具益氣健脾、祛風濕的功效,適合氣血虛弱、消化不良人士食用,但由於屬性溫熱,食用份量不宜過多,糖尿病患者不宜。
木瓜 — 性平,能健脾胃、幫助消化、消暑解渴,適合脾胃虛弱、容易胃脹不適人士服用,有助紓緩食慾下降、消化不良、胃部不適、產婦乳汁不多等症狀。注意孕婦不宜食用。

去痘印茶療
功效:清熱活血涼血,紓緩暗瘡形成及減淡深色暗瘡印。
材料:牡丹皮9克、赤芍9克、丹參9克
做法:材料洗淨放保溫瓶,以熱開水沖洗一遍,再注入熱開水焗30分鐘即可。此茶可反覆沖泡至味淡,建議一星期飲用2-3天,連續兩星期為一個療程。
備註:孕婦不宜服用。

CheckCheckCin: No doubt squeezing the acne can be quite satisfying, but we are squeezing the inflamed hair follicles and sebaceous glands at the same time. This is how acne scars occur, and we will have a hard time getting rid of them.
Individuals with the qi-stagnation and blood stasis constitutions will experience blood stagnation beneath the skin, forming marks that are red or brown. Hence, it is important to invigorate the blood and clear the stasis.
To do so, we can consume ingredients such as common peony root, salvia root, safflower, motherwort, rose flower, and Chinese hawthorn. Other ingredients that can invigorate the blood and clear blood stasis are lotus root, Chinese hawthorn, black fungus, and chives. These ingredients can improve the circulation of qi and blood, which can reduce appearance of acne scars.
Avoid eating raw, cold, and spicy food as they can affect the circulation of the qi and blood. Last but not least, resist the urge of squeezing the acne if you experience another outbreak in the future!
Tea remedy for pimple marks
Effects: clears heat, activates and cools blood and reduces dark pimple marks
Ingredients: 9g peony root, 9g red peony root, 9g salvia root
Preparation: rinse all ingredients thoroughly and place into thermos, rinse with hot water once. Then add in hot water again and steep for 30 minutes. You can re-brew until its flavor weakens. For best results, drink consecutively for 2-3 days. Two weeks for a treatment.
Note: not suitable for pregnant women.

Resepi Churros Bersama Sos Coklat
Bahan-bahan (Churros)
100 gm mentega
275 ml air
150 gm tepung gandum
2 biji telur
1/2 sk serbuk kayu manis
3/4 cwn gula kastor
1 sk esen vanila
Bahan-bahan (Sos Coklat)
1 cwn coklat gelap
1/2 cwn susu penuh krim
1 sb mentega
Cara memasak
1. CHURROS: Masak air seketika. Masukkan mentega dan tunggu hingga cair.
2. Masukkan esen vanila dan tepung. Gaul sehingga campuran menjadi doh.
3. Ketepikan dan biarkan ia sejuk seketika.
4. Masukkan telur satu demi satu dan gaulkan sehingga doh berkilat.
5. Masukkan doh tersebut ke dalam piping bag.
6. Paipkan doh ke dalam minyak yang panas dengan anggaran 2 inci panjang setiap satu dan gunting.
7. Goreng sehingga keperangan. Angkat dan toskan.
8. Pindahkan churros ke dalam bekas bertutup. Tuangkan gula dan serbuk kayu manis. Tutup bekas dengan penutup dan goncangkan sehingga churros disalut rata.
9. SOS COKLAT: Panaskan coklat, susu, dan mentega atas api sederhana sehingga cair sebati.
10. Sejukkan seketika. Sos siap untuk dihidangkan bersama churros.

Ingredients (Churros)
100 gm butter
275 ml water
150 gm wheat flour
2 nos eggs
1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder
3/4 cup of castor sugar
1 tsp of vanilla essence
Ingredients (Chocolate Sauce)
1 cup of dark chocolate
1/2 cup of full cream milk
1 tbsp of butter
Cooking methods
1. CHURROS: Bring water to a boil. Add in butter and cook until butter fully melted.
2. Add in vanilla essence and wheat flour. Mix until the mixture forming a dough.
3. Set aside and let it cool for a while.
4. Add in eggs one by one and beat until dough is shiny.
5. Place the dough inside a piping bag.
6. Pipe dough into hot oil with estimation of 2 inch long for each dough and snip off.
7. Deep fry until golden brown. Lift up and drain.
8. Transfer churros into a container. Pour in sugar and cinnamon powder. Close the lid and shake well until churros are fully coated.
9. CHOCOLATE SAUCE: Heat chocolate, milk, and butter over medium heat until fully melted and well-combined.
10. Let it cool and chocolate sauce is ready to be served with churros.

ไข่ยัดไส้ในรสชาติกะเพราสูตรนี้ กลมกล่อมด้วยรสจากเครื่องกะเพราสำเร็จรูปที่ช่วยให้ประหยัดเวลา ตัวไส้เป็นไก่ กุ้งและถั่วแขก สามารถปรับส่วนผสมได้ตามต้องการ เคล็ดลับอยู่ที่การใส่ไส้ลงบนไข่ในขณะที่ไข่ยังข้นๆ อยู่ เพื่อทำให้ตัวไข่ด้านในเกาะติดกับไส้ และเนื้อไข่ไม่แข็งกระด้าง รับประทานกับข้าวสวย อร่อยได้คุณค่า
เครื่องผัดกะเพรา 80 กรัม / น้ำสะอาด 2 ช้อนโต๊ะ / กุ้ง (สับ) 100 กรัม /
ไก่บด 200 กรัม / ถั่วแขก (ลวก+ซอย) 60 กรัม / พริกชี้ฟ้า (ซอย) ½ เม็ด /
ใบกะเพรา ½ + ½ ถ้วย / น้ำมันรำข้าว สำหรับทอด / ไข่ไก่ 3 ฟอง /
น้ำปลา 2 ช้อนชา / ซีอิ๊วขาว 1 ช้อนชา
1. เตรียมส่วนของไส้ โดยใส่เครื่องผัดกะเพราในกระทะ ผัดให้ร้อน ใส่น้ำสะอาดตามลงไป
2. ใส่กุ้งและไก่บด ผัดให้สุก ใส่ถั่วแขก พริกชี้ฟ้า และใบกะเพรา ½ ถ้วย เคล้าให้เข้ากัน ตักออกมาพักไว้
3. ทำความสะอาดกระทะ ใส่น้ำมันสำหรับทอดใบกะเพราที่เหลือ ทอดให้กรอบดี ตักออกมาพักไว้
4. เทน้ำมันออก ให้เหลือพอเคลือบกระทะ ตอกไข่ใส่ชาม ปรุงด้วยน้ำปลา และซีอิ๊วขาว ตีให้เข้ากัน
5. พอกระทะร้อนดี ใส่ไข่ลงไป กรอกไข่ให้เป็นแผ่นบางๆ ใส่ไส้ที่พักไว้ครึ่งหนึ่งลงไปตรงกลาง
6. พับขอบไข่เข้าตรงกลางให้เป็นชิ้นสี่เหลี่ยม ตักคว่ำลงบนจานเสิร์ฟ ตักไส้กะเพราส่วนที่เหลือลงบนไข่ ตกแต่งด้วยใบกะเพราทอด
Pad-Krapao Flavoured Stuffed Omelet
The stuffed omelet is one of the most fulfilling food in Thai cuisine, a scrumptious and fiery stir-fried holy basil nestled by layers of omelet and serve over a pile of hot steamed rice.
Stir-fried Holy Basil Paste 80 g / Water 2 tbsp /Prawn (minced) 100 g /
Minced Chicken 200 g / Green Beans (blanched and sliced) 60 g /
Red Chilli (sliced) ½ / Holy Basil ½ + ½ cup / Rice Bran Oil for frying /
Eggs 3 / Fish Sauce 2 tsp / Light Soy Sauce 1 tsp
1. For the filling: cook the holy basil paste over medium heat until shimmering.
2. Add water, minced chicken and prawn. Stir until cook through. Add green beans, red chilli and half a cup of holy basil. Toss everything together and set aside.
3. Clean the pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Fry holy basil until crispy.
4. Remove oil from the pan, left just enough to coat the pan. Mix eggs, soy sauce and light soy sauce together.
5. In the hot pan, add egg and swirl around to form a thin sheet. Add half of the filling into the middle.
6. Fold over four sides of the egg to cover the filling, forming a square. Flip over onto a serving plate. Garnish with remaining filling and crispy holy basil.
