[Save this] Some of you asked me how I helped April Inch to achieve over 50k reach with one post without spending $$$. I told you I keep trying. After some thoughts, I’m thinking there must be some tips I could share. Else, I look like the “nah, I didn’t study but I scored A in the exam” student LOL
1. Close up photo
People love beautiful object, so do you. When you’re taking product photos, try some close up shots, you wouldn’t know how your followers love it.
2. Location tag
Sometimes we seem to ignore it. Instagram algorithm proves that it does help us to reach relevant audiences with location tag. Make sure you tag the right place, for example, if your target audiences are in KL, you don’t locate yourself in Penang.
3. Use A LOT OF hashtags
I pretty sure you know this, just need to make sure we use it right. Ask yourself, if you were the customers, what kind of hashtags would you type in Instagram to search for it?
4. Utilize Reels
This is one of the best features of Instagram. It opens up international market to April Inch, even though we couldn’t serve international customers, but we do gain quite a number of oversea followers. Reels is meant for short but attractive videos, try to make it within 30 seconds. Take a short clip of your BTS, how-to tutorial, the making progress, etc.
5. Use photo apps
We want everything in original, but not your photos nor videos. There was once I saw some entrepreneurs posted in FB group, 30% comes from photos, 70% comes from your editing skill XD Yes, you need great filter to make your product photos stand out. Try these easy-to-use apps: Foodie, 黄油相机 (bybutter), VCSO, Focus, Meipai
Hope this helps 🙇🏻♀️☺️ @ Malaysia

Pardon the silence, as well as not replying to messages! I realise that this season, I’ve taken a lot more than before.
I teach five classes a day (six days a week), and I spend three hours each evening to finish Grad School (woohoo). With whatever time I have left, I oversee the administrative direction of the business— not an easy task during a time when so many changes happen every day.
When I signed on to my projects, I didn’t realise a global pandemic would turn the course of our work and lives upside-down. However, I am thankful. For every challenge brings out the strength within.
What keeps me going— aside from coffee— is knowing that in small ways, we’re making a difference for families, for children, for the community. I was taught by my parents that if you have a gift, you must use every bit of it... and do so for good.
How am I able to manage?
I have an amazing team of colleagues who hold me up. They literally finish my sentences, and can predict my responses to questions. I also have a great group of friends whose energy for cheering me on knows no limits.
If I don’t get to reply to messages, know that I will— eventually! It might take a few more weeks until the madness of 2020 subsides, but there will be a time to reconnect.
Until then, have a super Friday.

In this video we are showing you how to get to Lok Wah South Car Park from Kowloon Bay MTR, we will walk up as honestly as waiting for the bus you would already arrived at the location. On top of the Lok Wah South Car Park we can find two special build art pieces which a lot of visitors and tourist go to just to take a picture of themselves at. However do note, that in the weekends it be even more busy than weekdays. So to get a chance to take a perfect picture without someone else getting in the shot, you need to be quite quick and aggressive to take up the turn as there no cue to wait up on.
Mostly the most important shot is to take the images with the circles and also when the sun is at the right spot you get some great diagonal lines added to the image. But if you want someone to pose in the circles there are a few things you need to remember. First is you don't want the person to block the circles so you don't want them to stand in the middle in the first circle as he or she would block the circles behind them, what you want to do is to offset them to one side, either sit on the bottom edge or lean on the side. If the person want to be in the middle its better to position them further down a few circles to get your shot.
Honestly the location is nice, but a bit warn down due to so many people taking pictures there, but due to so many people visiting this location, you need quite a lot of patience to get your turn and honestly not that many things to photography than just those circles.
