I've played this song a month ago when I was at my lowest. I've received a bad news from home, things around me have changed and I had to deal with it, there's no escape. There were times where I curled up like a ball, sobbed alone in a room and cried to God how I wished things would change, how I wished time would make a pause. But in the midst of confusion and despair, in desperation God spoke to me to trust in Him no matter what and no matter how, that His plans make perfect in the imperfections in our lives. So there's no running away, there's no lookin' back. There's only one thing to pursue, to strive whatever that is good and right in His eyes with hope and love, and to keep trusting in Him till the end. With this word from Him, I learn to surrender everything to Him and believe that things are going to get better. A month later, circumstances have yet to change, but my heart has changed. God is my joy. ☻

Heard this song for the first time when I was in a church in Amsterdam. Really touched by the lyrics, whether you're a believer or not I hope you can just simply enjoy the flow of this song. I'll link the original one down below.
Also don't think I did a 100% job on this cover but I just feel like this need to be done. We're not perfect but God always is and always will be holding on to us.
