Pandemic has brought up a lot of things I need to heal through, and this is one of them: the idea of the "perpetual achievement". Sound familiar?
We glooorify it. What you did today is good, yeah - but what about what you'll do TOMORROW? You'd better be going higher, stronger, faster - never stop, don't you dare. Post the next ig picture. Generate tomorrow's tiktok content. Hope for likes. Touched the sky? Blow a hole through the atmosphere and torpedo straight on to the next burning star. The you from yesterday? We don't know her. We're better. Upgraded. V 2.0.
I've been living my life like this for years now, but the past 2 years have forced us all to BE slowed down and re-evaluate.
Don't get me wrong. Ambition & achievement are wonderful. (There are certainly many more things I want to achieve, and much coming up that I'm going to be sharing with you guys. Never stop dreaming.) But dreaming becomes a problem when it turns living into a nightmare, because you can't stop trying to put distance between yourself and yourself. Stop being the shadow you are continually trying to win. It's EXHAUSTING. Aren't you exhausted? I am.
So maybe the truth is this: that we were put on this earth to do ONE good thing with our lives. ONE properly good thing.
And maybe that's winning a great Waterloo style battle, or achieving a certain dream. Maybe it's finishing one great performance. One great thesis. A beautiful painting. An espresso magnum opus.
And then - we let that be enough. And we rest on our laurels. "Greatness" does not have to be continually proven. Likes are transient, clout & remembrance fade. Do what you do because you love it, and it is good, and it fulfils you. If when your day comes to an end you can say "I did this one thing to the best of my ability and it was good" - that is enough, hero. Be at peace. The bards will sing of that one deed. The song will be equally wonderful without infinite stanzas.
So rest on your laurels, goddesses. You've earned it.

I will always see my dad's eyes when he talked to me on everything about my future. I always saw in his both eyes that he wanted the best for my future with siblings too.
My dad will always give me advice and always teach me how to be better person on each day. I always talk to Allah too, when can I make him proud and having a big smile on his face.
He never tired of supporting me and always with me when i'm about to cry. I know i've had less..sometimes I make you feeling disappointed. But i'm so sorry for everything.
Abah, you will forever be "My Hero". Thats why i'm called you Iron Man because you fight on everything for me until done like Iron Man.

Assalamualaikum WBT..
1. Bella cadangkan supaya pihak KKM tidak menutup ruangan komen.
2. Bella faham asbab KKM menutup ruang komen. Kerana ingin mengelakkan perbalahan seterusnya mencetuskan suasana panik dikalangan rakyat.
3. Tapi kini hampir 2 tahun kita dibelenggu oleh Virus COVID-19 ini. Something need to be done. Korang tak kesian ke dgn FRONTLINER? Tak mustahil satu hari nnt kita pun akan dimasukkan ke hospital kemudian doctor terpaksa membuat pilihan samada nak sembuhkan kita atau org lain. Yes that’s how bad the situation now.
4. Bella cadangkan kita gunakan ruangan komen di Facebook, Instagram & Twitter KKM ini kita jadikan sebagai ruang untuk kita sama2 bertukar pendapat & idea bagaimana kita nak mengekang wabak ini. Bukan ruang kita nak menyalahkan sesuatu pihak sahaja.
5. Jika masih ada yg komen negatif, kita jangan kecam dia, sebaliknya kita educate dia sambil bertanya “Apa masalah awk ek?” 🙄
6. Bella faham ramai yg terkesan, hilang kerja, kehilangan ahli keluarga, rindu nak balik kampung dsb. Sabar, InshaAllah semua ni akan berakhir.

Cycling and specific health issues
Cycling can improve both physical and mental health, and can reduce the chances of experiencing many health problems.
Obesity and weight control
Cycling is a good way to control or reduce weight, as it raises your metabolic rate, builds muscle and burns body fat. If you’re trying to lose weight, cycling must be combined with a healthy eating plan. Cycling is a comfortable form of exercise and you can change the time and intensity – it can be built up slowly and varied to suit you.
Research suggests you should be burning at least 8,400 kilojoules (about 2,000 calories) a week through exercise. Steady cycling burns about 1,200 kilojoules (about 300 calories) per hour.
If you cycle twice a day, the kilojoules burnt soon add up. British research shows that a half-hour bike ride every day will burn nearly five kilograms of fat over a year.
Cardiovascular disease and cycling
Cardiovascular diseases include stroke, high blood pressure and heart attack. Regular cycling stimulates and improves your heart, lungs and circulation, reducing your risk of cardiovascular diseases.
Cycling strengthens your heart muscles, lowers resting pulse and reduces blood fat levels. Research also shows that people who cycle to work have two to three times less exposure to pollution than car commuters, so their lung function is improved. A Danish study conducted over 14 years with 30,000 people aged 20 to 93 years found that regular cycling protected people from heart disease.
Cancer and cycling
Many researchers have studied the relationship between exercise and cancer, especially colon and breast cancer. Research has shown that if you cycle, the chance of bowel cancer is reduced. Some evidence suggests that regular cycling reduces the risk of breast cancer.
Diabetes and cycling
The rate of type 2 diabetes is increasing and is a serious public health concern. Lack of physical activity is thought to be a major reason why people develop this condition. Large-scale research in Finland found that people who cycled for more than 30 minutes per day had a 40 per cent lower risk of developing diabetes.
Bone injuries, arthritis and cycling
Cycling improves strength, balance and coordination. It may also help to prevent falls and fractures. Riding a bike is an ideal form of exercise if you have osteoarthritis, because it is a low-impact exercise that places little stress on joints.
Cycling does not specifically help osteoporosis (bone-thinning disease) because it is not a weight-bearing exercise.
Mental illness and cycling
Mental health conditions such as depression, stress and anxiety can be reduced by regular bike riding. This is due to the effects of the exercise itself and because of the enjoyment that riding a bike can bring.
