印度抗炎法
疫情持續,全球每天都有新增個案,唯幾國家 / 城市可以力保不失,當中包括印度,暫時確診個案只有三宗。真心抵讚!除咗飲恒河水 (#曲,笑),仲有咩原因令到佢哋有咁強免疫力呢?
1)印度菜
印度菜,包括出名嘅印度咖哩,常用的配料包括洋蔥,番茄,蒜頭,香菜,再加上各種香料如薑,薑黃,茴香,辣椒等,全部都是高抗氣化的食材配料。
其中薑黃 (turmeric) 含有薑黃素(curcumin), 多份文件顯示,薑黃素屬安全,而且具有高效抗炎的效果(1),亦有研究顯示薑黃素有助提升肝臟排毒功能,改善非酒精性脂肪肝疾病 (Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, NAFLD) (2)。
而因印度教徒不吃牛,伊斯蘭教徒不吃豬,所以印度菜中多以植物類為主 (包括蔬菜,豆類,根莖類如薯仔,胡蘿蔔等)。至於肉類則以羊,雞,以及魚為主。
經常攝取紅肉會增加身體發炎風險,尤其是肥胖人士 (3)。
2)印度天氣炎熱猛太陽,除了太陽有殺菌的作用外,多曬太陽有助吸收維他命D,有助增強免疫力。
所以要提升免疫力,平時煮餸不妨多使用新鮮香料,減少加工調味料;減少進食紅肉,多進食白肉,海鮮類,以及豆類作為蛋白質補充。
另外,找機會多曬太陽,或進食維生素D,這些全部都有助提升免疫力。
