Somehow the taste of this bowl seems slightly different than the first time I had it when they first opened their first outlet in Malaysia in Pavillion. I miss that rich broth-y texture and flavor that just bursts with essence in your mouth and the fragrant just fills up the whole surrounding! This one here is a good ramen nonetheless but can definitely be better. Just feels like something is lacking...
Thanks for the amazing meal, @ippudomalaysia! My personal go-to is the Ippudo Kuro Special, with its smoky, rich aroma, it's definitely one of my favourites. I've got to say, the Akamaru Special is another super strong contender though! 🍜
