Lama tak merempit dengan kapcai. Rinduuuuuu pulak my #HondaFame PBA6072 zaman muda dulu. Banyak sangat jasa motor 2nd hand tu... haruk mak belikan masa Form 4 sebagai hadiah sebab lepas SRP, dibawak belajar ke #ITM, industrial placement di @hiltonkualalumpur lama on Jalan Sultan Ismail & seterusnya kerja di @holidayvillasubanghotel, @swissgardenkl & @sonymusicmy before embarking on my teaching career at @mytaylorscollege. Then terpaksa tinggalkan coz’ nak gi sambung belajar di @jwuprovidence tajaan @majlisamanahrakyat . Mampu beli lesen ‘L’ sekali je seumur hidup (RM16/year). So pleased & honored to have rekindled with my dear very old friend Kak Tina whom I have known and had the pleasure to work with in 1994 after more than 15 years tak berjumpa.
Beliau lah yang introduced me to her homeland (Sarawak) with so many different stories, her twin sister, dialect, etc. & juga selalu memujuk saya bila 'termelalak' sebab kena gasak dengan boss, etc. due to whatever reasons lah. We too have had many good laughs whenever I asked her to speak Bahasa Melayu Sarawak that was very new to me at that time! 😆😆
Most importantly, I must mention that she was the one who'd agreed to become one of my 2 "Guarantors" needed when I was offered a 'Convertible Loan' by @majlisamanahrakyat to further my studies at @jwuprovidence back then as I had no one eligible to turn to. Amazingly though she immediately said "YES sebab you nak pergi belajar" even after knowing me for merely one year....only from the college we both used to lecture at. She also went with me to the Commissioner of Oath's office in Ampang Park to sign the necessary documents, etc. for that matter....fully realizing that she could've been burdened with more than RM120,000 loan had I not completed my studies with flying colors in order for it to be converted into a scholarship (which I did , Alhamdulillah😁👏🤸♀️). She'd always received bone-chilling financial statements from #MARA periodically on the amounts spent on my studies but never freaked out or even tried to contact me to find out about my education status & results.
Kak Tina, do know that I am forever indebted to you and Michael Chew for your kindness and trust. If it wasn't for your pure & kind heartedness, maybe I wouldn't have made it this far today.
