While we were walking the Frankton trail, we noticed this iconic yellow boat that kept zipping up and down the lake. It was the K-Jet, the world's first commercial jet boating operation.
In an hour, it took us over a distance of 43km across Lake Wakatipu, Kawarau River and Shotover River, and the views were amazing.
You will get a little wet from the sprays and the ride can be rather thrilling with all those 360-degree spins, but do it for the views!
