大騙子川普從 2016 年競選期間就大言不慚地說他超挺 LGBT, 結果找來「反 LGBT 大將」潘思來做他副手。上任後一連串反 LGBT 政策讓人傻眼, 卻不意外。國務院還成天刁難跨國同性夫夫或妻妻, 害他們為孩子的國籍奔波打官司。國務卿龐培歐並規定美國大使館不准飄揚彩虹旗。美國駐南韓大使館去年曾掛上彩虹旗和支持 BLM (黑人的命也是命) 的標示, 很快就被強迫撤下。
新任國務卿反轉川普政府的荒唐政策, 允許彩虹旗再次飄揚。

2019年第十七屆臺灣同志遊行，這次除了六色彩虹氣球做前導，主辦單位特地準備了五面大旗，「跨性別」、「雙性戀」、「無性戀」、「泛性戀」、「雙性人」。
想讓大家認識這些不同卻都存在於我們生活裡的朋友們，他或許就是我們住上住下的鄰居，是班上同學，是同事等等，但我們都共同生活在這片土地上。相互尊重與理解，便是《同志好厝邊》最重要的意涵。
讓我們好好認識這五面旗的意義與意涵吧！希望我們都能成為不同群體的好厝邊，都能尊重理解每一位需要被關注的朋友們！讓我們繼續為愛而走！為平等而努力吧！
The organisers of this year's 17th Taiwan Pride has organized for five different LGBT flags to be shown along with the march. They are different from the usual rainbow flag. They represent transgender, bisexual, asexual, pansexual and intersex.
Please join us to get to know about these individuals. They may be our neighbor, classmate or colleague. They may seem different, but they live in the same society as we do. By "Together, make Taiwan better", the organisers are trying to spread a message of mutual respect and understanding.
Join us to learn more about these flags! Let us truly be together with our queer friends, respect and understand them. Together we fight for equity in loving kindness.

花東彩虹嘉年華花蓮場邁入第十年。
宜蘭驕傲大遊行彩虹市集迎接第三年。
從一開始走在街頭會被人謾罵與批評，
走到現在的突破更多同溫層。
看見好多居民從家門走出來，
有的微笑揮手、有的舉起彩虹旗迎接，
爺爺奶奶、爸爸媽媽帶著小孩，
用微笑和鼓勵迎接路上的每一個人。
而市集，更是用擺攤的多元，
在日常生活與娛樂互動中和更多人對話。
天氣照樣好到一個不行，
陽光灑落在現場每一個美好的人身上，
跟著志工們，我們拍手、跳舞、歌唱，
在每一個巷弄口、每一個逛市集的當下，和群眾對話。
我們都是渴望幸福的人，
不論是走出來的人，還是在網路前的你們，
都希望能有一個人、一個地方、一個憩所，安放我們需要靠在一起的心。
今年花蓮的訴求「十年有成，洄來相見。」
宜蘭的訴求「異同龜鄉」
期盼每一位在外的遊子終有一天能驕傲的回家，驕傲的歸鄉。
進而紮根再擴散，
讓每一個人、每一種特質、每一種愛都能被尊重。
謝謝宜花東為平權而努力的每一個人，這條路很長，
我們繼續一起前進。
This is the tenth year of the Hualian part of Eastern Taiwan Pride
This is the third year of Yilan Pride Bazaar
The hostile scolding and yelling in the beginning has turned into welcoming smiles
Lots of locals came out of their houses
Some waved at us, some welcomed us with rainbow flags
Grandparents and parents bring their kids
to welcome everyone with smiles and encouragement
The bazaar is a great way
to communicate the values of diversity through daily lives and fun activities
The weather was great as always
Rays of sunlight radiated on everyone’s faces
We sang, danced and clapped along with the volunteers
in a stunning display in front of every corner of the streets
We all want to live happily ever after
That includes people joining the parade or those of you in front of the computer
We long for a person, a place, a safe haven, to rest our tired, wary hearts.
The slogan for this year’s Hualian Pride is “Ten years and going strong”
While that of Yilan’s is “Coming home, straight or queer.”
May all of us come home with our heads held up high.
May we spread the word of diversity.
May every person, every kind of quality, every kind of love be respected.
Thanks everyone in Hualian and Yilan for putting your efforts in.
Let’s keep pushing forward into the future.

走在桃園的路上，我們並肩而行
沿途揮舞著各色旗幟，期許讓更多人看見我們。
看見多元的群體與豐富的色彩。
為平權前進，為愛而走。
友善城市一起成家，
有人說家是避風港，有人說能夠放鬆的地方就是家
有人說家人在哪裡哪裡就是家。
隨著時代改變，家的定義越來越多元。
有小家庭、隔代家庭、甚至同性家庭等等。
當我們願意尊重身邊的各種不同，
便能展現更多家的樣貌，
愛在哪裡，哪裡就是家。

The 7th Taoyuan Pride Parade and picnic day
We walk hand in hand along the streets of Taoyuan.
We wave flags of different colours hoping we will be seen
and our diversity appreciated.
We walk for equality.
We walk for love.
Friendly city, varied families.
Some say home is one’s safe haven.
Some say home is a place where one can relax.
Some say home is where your family members are.
As times change.
The meaning of the word family widens.
There are small families.
Inter-generation families.
Same-sex families.
Different forms of family can surface.
when we truly embrace diversity.
Home is.
where love is.
