I recently went to Hee Lai Ton PJ for the dinner celebration to congrat Chef Yip Gian Ding from winning the Gold Award and Best Dish Award in the 'Lee Kum Kee International Young Chef Chinese Culinary Challenge 2018'.

Chef Yip Gian Ding is a committee representative from Chinese Chef Association of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has been in Chinese culinary industry since 17 years old (16 years of experience to-date). Now, he is also the head chef for Grand Harbour Restaurant (Fahrenheit 88).

Themed “Excel On Traditions, Converging Global Culinary Talents”, the competition serves as an excellent exchange platform for cultural and culinary skills for Chinese chefs from around the world, allowing them to hone their skills in this top-level competition, as well as breaking the mold with creativity.

Alhamdulillah, today 21st July 2016 marks the 6th anniversary of Silverspoon International College's (SSiC) glorious official launch- our pride & joy.
Throughout the years, we have been through all sorts of hardships, challenges, blood, sweat, tears and of course multiple successes, achievements & pure happiness, too. We have definitely learnt a great deal having gone through the milestones.
Started with only 9 students that I recruited via my personal Facebook & Twitter pages and less than 5 staff including myself, we have grown to training more than 200 students currently and visioning to expand even larger in the near future, Inshallah.
We are indebted to several
people without whom, SSiC wouldn't have been a reality. Hence, I must express a deep, sincere gratitude & highest appreciation especially to the super industrious YB Dato' Seri Maznah Mazlan- then the Deputy Human Resource Minister, her loyal aides, officials of all levels from Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, Perbadanan Tabung Pembangunan Kemahiran, Skills Malaysia, HRDB, MATRADE, City & Guilds London, Puan Zuraida Rashid, PPLs, associates and all other related departments/agencies i.e. MBSJ, Bomba, for their undivided, continuous guidance & support in making our dream a reality....resulting in the eventual birth of SSiC.

【Ingredients・材料】
Any kind of Ramen Noodles (お好きな麺)
500ml Water (500ml 水)
2 tsp Soy sauce (小さじ2 醤油)
1.5 tsp 味覇・Weyper (小さじ1.5 ウェイパー)
1 tsp Garlic Powder (小さじ1 ガーリックパウダー)
【Alternative Ingredients : soup】(代案スープレシピ)
* If you can get 味覇, you should definitely use it.
400ml Water (400ml 水)
1.5 tsp Chicken Powder (LEE KUM KEE) (小さじ1.5 鶏がらスープの素)
1 tsp Soy Sauce (小さじ1 醤油)
1.5 tsp Oyster Sauce (小さじ1.5 オイスターソース)
1 tsp Sesame Oil (小さじ1 ごま油)
A pinch of Salt & Sugar (ひとつまみ 塩・砂糖)
* If the soup is too salty, add water and make it less salty.
塩辛ければ、お好みでお湯を足して調節してください。
【Toppings I used】
Roast Pork (焼き豚)
Boiled egg (ゆで卵)
Green onion (ねぎ)
Chill pepper (糸唐辛子)
Nori (seaweed).
