Let me be frank about the QUALITY of the pots from @hijauan_baba , it is durable and shock resistance ‼️‼️ The weight of the pots is 10 times lighter than usual clay pots which makes everything “easy breazy” 👍🏻 Extreme temperatures? "Sometimes, being a brother is even better than being a superhero."

To be frank, I was worried about whether Asher would welcome his baby brother with open arms after being the youngest in the family for five long years.

He had two elder sisters to protect and dote on him, he had a lot of one-on-one time with me, he was the littlest, cutest and the baby amongst us. That all changed when Ansel came along because suddenly, this boy became a big brother and a middle child.

Thankfully, he was over the moon the moment he saw the baby and I knew he loved him just as much as I did. He would ask to carry the baby every morning, kiss him a hundred times a day, run up to him at every whimper, sing lullabies to him, pat him, hug him, and say to him "Don't be scared. Don't cry. Korkor is here."

He would also say to me "妈妈，谢谢你生弟弟 (Thank you for giving me a baby brother). We are so lucky to have two boys and two girls and I am so happy to have a brother now." Awwww. Indeed, we are so truly blessed and having seen how sisterhood bonds my girls, I am excited to see how these brothers bond as they grow up too. For now, they definitely adore each other.

They were the only ones who did a couple shot at this newborn photoshoot because I wanted to let Asher know how special he is to the baby. Four months on, he is still in love with his Didi and protects him just as a good big brother will. That makes you just as awesome as a superhero, you know?

Can't wait to see more adventures these two will embark on and yup, they will probably get into mischief together but that is also what brothers are for. Love ya both! ❤

Daily advice for HK immigrants to the West:

Regarding parenting, you’ll want to exercise judgment regarding putting your kids in Chinese school on weekends. If they enjoy Chinese school and if the school teaches well, by all means let them enjoy the ride. You also need to balance their needs to socialize in sports while getting educated in Chinese school. A lot of sports events happen on weekends too. When my son was wrestling from junior high to high school (i.e. throughout secondary school), I was his taxi driver all over the state for all competitions not only on most weekends but often on weekdays. Even during off-season, we would look for tournaments to go to in order to get him to the state-ranked level of excellence. None of that includes endless hours in wrestling gyms to train with top coaches. Let me be frank. I’m in favor of being multilingual, but not all Chinese schools are run well. If bad teachers teach them, they’ll learn to hate Chinese school and maybe even their own culture. You’ll have to ask yourself whether that’s worth it. For me, sports (or other after school activities) and grades would take priority to help my kids assimilate. As long as you speak your mother tongue to your kids, that may be good enough. They’re smart. They’ll retain more than you can imagine. One day, they’ll remember all the stuff you taught them at home and explore their culture and language further on their own. Let your kids own their own culture, not YOUR culture.

- Hôm nay, bài học cùng Ms.Jenny tránh cách nói I DON'T KNOW trong phần thi IELTS Speaking. Đây là một điều mà nhiều bạn hay gặp lắm nhé nên hãy thực hành ngay cùng cô nhé.

Ta có 2 trường hợp sau:

1. Không hiểu câu hỏi
Part 1: Pardon? / Would you mind repeating the question?
Part 2: ko thể hỏi + ko đc đổi đề
Part 3: Could you rephrase the question, please?
Could you explain the question in another way, please?

2. Topic “lạ”:
- That’s a tough question. To be frank with you/ To be honest, I’ve never really thought about it before. I suppose
- Well, I am not a knowledgeable person about this topic so actually I don’t have any suitable answer. However, to the best of my belief,....

Những điều cần biết:

1. Có bị giám khảo trừ điểm không? Không.

2. Nhưng đừng hỏi lại giám khảo quá nhiều lần, câu nào cũng hỏi và câu nào cũng dùng những câu trên để mở đầu… thì có khả năng bị mất điểm, chỉ dùng cho trường hợp khẩn cấp thôi và chỉ nên DÙNG 1 LẦN

3. Lặp lại câu hỏi (Part 3):

Vd: What can people do to try and reduce air pollution?

Không nên: What can people do to try and reduce air pollution? I think….

Nên: What can individuals do to ensure the atmosphere is kept clean? That’s an interesting question, let me think for a second. If I had to give an answer I would say…
Chốt: Nên paraphrase câu hỏi
