GIÁ TRỊ VIỆT – TỪ NHỎ TỚI LỚN
Bấy lâu nay – chúng ta đều nói về một vấn đề mà – ai – cũng – biết – điều – gì – đấy, đó chính là mặc dù thời trang đặc biệt là thời trang đường phố ở Việt Nam phát triển nhanh và mạnh, không thua kém một bất kì cường quốc hay người anh em hàng xóm Đông Lào nào cả. Nhưng nhắc tới thời trang đường phố Việt Nam, chúng ta đọng lại được cái gì?
Đọng lại thì ít mà vơi đi thì nhiều – các bạn đếm được trên đầu ngón tay bao nhiêu thương hiệu thời trang Việt Nam có thể khiến mọi người nhớ và biết rõ về nó. Có nhưng không nhiều. Bởi vì chúng ta còn tự ti về bản thân, thị hiếu khách hàng còn đam mê những thứ ngoại bang khiến các local brands phải đi theo nếu muốn tồn tại. Và cứ thế cứ thế, những gì đọng lại trong chúng ta là 1 nền thời trang đường phố không quá đặc sắc và mang tinh thần Việt.
Có thể so sánh hơi khập khiễng – nhưng hãy nhìn thời trang đường phố của Nhật Bản mà xem. Khởi điểm của họ - không cao đâu, cũng như những người Việt mình bây giờ thôi. Yohji Yamamoto hay Rei Kawakubo, cũng trải qua 1 thời gian dài ngụp lặn – nhưng họ không đi theo thị trường mà còn nhờ chính tinh thần lí tưởng của dân tộc mà khiến cả nền công nghiệp thời trang phải thay đổi. Hay Tomoaki Nagao (Hay Nigo) đã mang hình ảnh chú khỉ lười biếng cùng văn hóa đường phố Harajuku phổ biến ra toàn thế giới. Quá trình này không phải ngày 1, ngày 2..mà nó khá dài, nhưng không phải là không thể. Phải có những người tiên phong, mở đường thì mới có thế hệ sau phát triển mạnh hơn. Thế hệ tiên phong của thời trang đường phố Việt Nam có không? Có, nhưng vì cơm áo gạo tiền – sức mạnh của tờ giấy khiến người nước ngoài nhìn vào “Thời trang Việt Nam” không quá nhiều gợn. Nhưng không nên tiêu cực quá, vì rõ ràng sẽ xuất hiện những nhà tiên phong tương lai mà mình rất mong đợi để giao thoa giữa tinh thần của người trẻ và giá trị văn hóa Việt.
Quay trở lại
Việt Nam – giờ đã mở cửa và thế hệ tài năng rất nhiều. Chúng ta đã có những celebs, những tên tuổi đi lên và được cả thế giới bắt đầu biết đến. Các show diễn thời trang, cũng rất nhiều người Việt ngồi ở Front-line. Sự kết nối của chúng ta với bên ngoài – không phải là không có, tại sao nhắc tới streetwear Việt Nam – người nước ngoài vẫn nhìn thấy nhiều chi tiết nước ngoài hơn là 1 cái gì đó “Đậm chất người Việt”? Do chúng ta xấu hổ ư? Hay do chúng ta cảm thấy thật “xấu xí” khi mang hình ảnh người Việt ra nước ngoài? Hay do chúng ta tự ti??
Nói qua vẫn phải nói lại – một trong những gốc rễ, chính là thị hiếu của người Việt – của cả thị trường Việt. Không kể các thương hiệu, những nhãn hàng của người Việt nhưng bắt đầu ở nước ngoài – hãy nhắc tới thương hiệu lấy người Việt là đối tượng khách hàng chính, là cốt lõi. Mà cái tâm lý “yêu nước người ta hơn nước mình” khiến họ sẽ quan tâm những thứ gì đó mắc mỏ hơn, MADE IN ABC, XYZ hơn là MADE IN VIETNAM, DESIGNED BY VIETNAM. Rõ ràng – các local brands và Celebs có cái lý của riêng họ, khi thị trường muốn vậy – họ phải đáp ứng thì mới nhận được sự quan tâm.
Tỉ dụ - có những thứ gần gũi ở nước ta, lại trở thành một trào lưu ở streetwear nước ngoài. Điều này không biết là nên cười hay nên khóc. Vì chính những thứ chúng ta gần gũi, mà lại không khai thác được mà phải nhờ người khác phổ biến?
Còn nhớ những năm 2014 -2016, ở Nhật Bản – túi cám con cò, con lợn và con ngan ở Việt Nam lại trở thành 1”trend” ở Nhật Bản. Nó hot đến mức đã trở thành “Key Item” của những thanh niên Nhật lúc đó – thứ nhất là những hình ảnh động vật nuôi khá gần gũi với người Châu Á, thứ Hai là nguyên liệu làm chiếc túi đó thường là vải bố, vải tái chế nên được tin dùng rất nhiều. Trong khi đó ở Việt Nam – những chiếc túi đó vứt đầy ra và chỉ đợi lên xe bán đồng nát(??).
Hay trong Lookbook của Balenciaga mùa Xuân/Hạ 2017 của nhiếp ảnh gia Harley Weir có một bức hình model ôm 1 chiếc túi nhựa có chiếc chăn bông hoa trong đó, dù mình không chắc chắn, nhưng đối với ở Việt Nam hay đúng hơn là Hà Nội. Chiếc chăn bông hoa trong túi nhựa đó – khá phổ biến và rất lâu rồi đúng không?
Áo dài của người Việt cũng là niềm cảm hứng của nhiều nhà thiết kế nước ngoài. Nhưng – lại 1 cái nhưng to đùng – nếu là 1 Viet designer phá cách thì thiên hạ sẽ bay vào
“ÔI ZỒI ÔI! ÁO DÀI TRUYỀN THỐNG MÀ CÒN PHÁ CÁCH À. QUỐC HỒN QUỐC TÚY Ở ĐÂUUUU?”
“THÔI DẸP MẸ ĐÊ! ÁO DÀI MÀ LÀM VẬY CÒN RA THỂ THỐNG GÌ NỮA”.
Và trong 1 phương diện khác, 1 Fashion Designer nước ngoài nào đó sử dụng hình ảnh áo dài để làm thiết kế. Anh em ta sẽ chả ngại mà xun xoe:
“TỰ HÀO QUÁ VIET NAM ƠI!!!”
“CẢM ƠN BẠN – ĐÃ MANG HÌNH ẢNH ÁO DÀI RA NƯỚC NGOÀI??”
“ĐẤY! CÁCH ĐIỆU NHƯ VẬY MỚI ĐÚNG, MỚI PHÁ CÁCH NHÉEE!!!”
Vậy – lối đi nào cho chúng ta?...

Lại nhắc về thổ cẩm – một trong nhiều nét đặc sắc của văn hóa trang phục Việt Nam.
Trong cái sự may mặc thì việc ứng dụng các kĩ thuật, chất liệu truyền thống lên ngành thời trang đương đại không phải là một điều mới mẻ. Khá nhiều các thương hiệu (Đặc biệt là Nhật Bản – đó là cái mình thích ở các fashion designer người Nhật) như Kapital, CDG, Visvim, Undercover sử dụng niềm cảm hứng từ vật liệu và kĩ thuật may truyền thống như kĩ thuật nhuộm Shibori, hay Boro (Tất cả mình đều có bài viết, các bạn có thể tìm lại). Hay những chiếc váy truyền thống của người đàn ông Scotland, chiếc khăn choàng và họa tiết của người da đỏ Anh-điêng, của nền văn hóa Americana đặc sắc (Navajo cũng vậy).
Vậy, nước ta có một thứ vải/chất liệu/ kĩ thuật may đậm chất Việt Nam – mà có rất nhiều diễn giả nước ngoài viết về nó. Đó chính là Thổ Cẩm.
Thổ cẩm là gì?
Không nói tới các loại vải thổ cẩm công nghiệp bán cho khách hàng du lịch đầy rẫy ngày nay, thổ cẩm truyền thống là một loại vải được dệt thủ công với các hoa văn, họa tiết đầy màu sắc đầy nổi bật trên bề mặt vải.
Thổ cẩm hay dệt thổ cẩm là một trong những kĩ thuật may mặc hiếm hoi còn giữ được một số giá trị tinh túy tại thời điểm hiện tại. Xuất hiện ở Việt Nam rất lâu đời, là một nét đặc trưng của những dân tộc thiểu số ít người. Hoa văn/ Họa tiết xuất hiên trên thổ cẩm thường thể hiện nét văn hóa và góc nhìn của các dân tộc đó – như bao cộng đồng khác trên thế giới – cây cối, mặt trời, chim muông và con người cách điệu.
Vậy tại sao thổ cẩm lại giá trị cao?
Quy trình làm vải hay dệt thổ cẩm khá tỉ mỉ và phức tạp – yêu cầu sự khéo léo của người làm ra nó (Ở đây thường là các mẹ). Và hơn hết, thổ cẩm là handcraft/ Thủ công hoàn toàn. Từ khâu sản xuất, nguyên liệu chính là các sợi lanh, sợi bông được lấy trong vỏ cây đay, vỏ cây gừng – nhuộm màu tự nhiên trong các vật liệu cũng đến từ thiên nhiên (Mủ cây, lá cây vv..vv) để tạo ra các màu sắc đặc trưng và khó nhầm lẫn với các chất vải khác.
Chưa hết, làm ra được chất liệu/material rồi thì sản xuất cũng công phu không kém. Những người phụ nữ dân tộc thiểu số sẽ phải thực hiện bằng cảm quan của mình – với khung dệt gỗ đơn sơ và thuê bằng chỉ tay. Kĩ thuật dệt, sự tinh tế và sắp xếp bố cục bằng phương pháp tự nhiên (Mắt người) đã tạo ra các sản phẩm hay vải thổ cẩm đầy tinh tế và xao xuyến tất cả ai có thể theo dõi được quá trình đó.
Không may rằng, với nhịp sống hiện đại và nhu cầu ăn mặc khá “hiện đại” của thị trường đại chúng. Thổ cẩm đã ít được nhiều người biết tới lại càng khó khăn được “di truyền” tới thế hệ ngày nay. Ở một điều nữa là hầu hết design/ thiết kế của sản phẩm thổ cẩm thường bị đóng y 1 màu (Vì đó là truyền thống của những người dân tộc mà) nên nếu may mắn, thổ cẩm sẽ chỉ là 1 thứ mang tính “Kỉ niệm/ Đồ lưu niệm” chứ không thể nào mang tính “Fashion Season/ Thời trang theo mùa” lên được.
Sự tiềm năng của những khách hàng trẻ là có. Thị trường Việt Nam ngày nay, đặc biệt là Gen Z (những bạn trẻ sinh năm 1996 trở lên) đang phân khúc dần và ngày càng học hỏi. Sự nhận thức của họ về các ứng dụng văn hóa truyền thống (Đặc biệt cảm hứng từ các brands Nhật Bản như mình kể ở trên) kèm theo tính thời trang đã được nhân rộng khá là nhiều. Bằng chứng là những chiếc shirt, chiếc tee kiểu Patchwork hay full pattern bandana/ JP culture và cả cộng đồng Indigo đều đang phát triển.
Thị trường có, dù nhu cầu không nhiều – nhưng cần phải có những người tiên phong, đầu tiên để làm niềm cảm hứng cho các bạn đi theo. Vậy nếu những chiếc áo do Local brand Việt làm - ứng dụng chi tiết thổ cẩm hay vải dệt thổ cẩm một cách khéo léo – đó cũng sẽ là 1 thứ thay thế cho việc các bạn phải tìm mua những chiếc mang văn hóa nước ngoài kia (Ao ta thì ta lại về tắm ao ta chứ). Ủng hộ local brands – thì cũng nên ủng hộ tinh thần/ linh hồn của văn hóa Việt chứ nhỉ.
Điều này thực ra không phải là quá bất khả thi. Chỉ cần có thị trường, có những người thực sự ủng hộ và muốn mua. Mình tin rằng ứng dụng thổ cẩm một cách tinh tế sẽ được thị trường đón nhận và các local brands sẽ có cái nhìn thiện cảm hơn với văn hóa truyền thống của người Việt. Bán được sẽ có nhiều người quan tâm – và mình sẽ sẵn sàng ủng hộ những câu chuyện như vậy. Chứ nếu không, Thổ cẩm sẽ mãi mãi chìm sâu và không được mang ra ánh sáng mất.
Nhưng việc thực thi vẫn còn khá gian nan và đòi hỏi sự cần mẫn của những người yêu nó, thực sự muốn phổ cập văn hóa – nét truyền thống này tới giới trẻ theo một cách gần gũi và dễ tiếp cận nhất. Nhiều khi câu chuyện đánh đổi giữa Duy trì giá trị thật hay chỉ là hình ảnh được kĩ thuật số hóa cũng quan trọng trong việc giáo dục lại thị trường.

บทความนี้ได้ข้อมูลมาจากหนังสือที่ดีมากๆๆๆๆเล่มนึง อรอ่านหลายรอบมากเพราะเขียนดีจริงๆ หนังสือชื่อ The Practice and Science of Drawing โดย Harold Speed
แนะนำว่าให้ไปหามาอ่าน คนที่ชอบศิลปะจะสนุกสนานไปกับมันมาก. ไม่จำเป็นต้องวาดรูปได้ก็สนุกเพราะมีข้อมูลลึกๆชวนคิดเกี่ยวกับศิลปะมากมายแบบที่หาเล่มอื่นเทียบยากค่ะ

คำว่าจังหวะในบริบทของศิลปะนั้นพูดถึงพลังของลายเส้น, น้ำหนัก และสี โดยคำนึงถึงการจัดวางของมันว่ามีผลต่อความรู้สึกของเราอย่างไร เปรียบง่ายๆเสมือนกับเสียงของโน้ทดนตรีในบทเพลง
ทำนองในดนตรีนั้นส่งผลต่อความรู้สึกของมนุษย์แบบไม่ต้องการคำอธิบาย. ดนตรีและจังหวะในภาษาของเส้นและสีสันในโลกของศิลปะก็ทำงานแบบเดียวกัน. มันคุยกับเราได้เหนือการใช้ภาษาพูด

ภาพที่ไร้จังหวะก็ไม่ต่างอะไรกับดนตรีไร้ทำนองที่น่าเบื่อ
Line and mass
ถ้าเราถอดชิ้นส่วนของรายละเอียดในรูปภาพทุกรูปและมองทุกอย่างแบบ abstract เลย เราก็จะเห็นได้ว่ามันมีส่วนประกอบหลักๆคือ เส้น(line) และ กลุ่มก้อน (mass) บางคนก็พูดว่าเส้นนั้นเป็นแค่ขอบของกลุ่มก้อน หรือกลุ่มก้อนนั้นเป็นเพียงพื้นที่ระหว่างเส้น. จะคิดหรือมองแบบไหนก็ตาม 2 สิ่งนี้คือส่วนประกอบหลักๆของทุกๆรูปภาพ
ภาษาของเส้น
Unity and Variety
ภาษาของเส้นนั้นสามารถทำงานได้ด้วยตัวของมันเองโดยไม่ต้องอาศัยความเป็นรูปธรรมลองนึกถึงเส้นเรขาคณิต มันสื่ออารมณ์แบบ abstract ได้ด้วยตัวของมันเอง ตามธรรมชาติส่วนใหญ่แล้วภาษาของลายเส้นก็มักจะทำงานเป็นเรื่องเดียวกันกับสิ่งที่มันเป็น ยกตัวอย่าง ลองนึกถึงภาพของแม่น้ำเราก็จะนึกถึงเส้นแนวนอน คงประหลาดถ้าพยายามใช้สามเหลี่ยมอธิบายความเป็นน้ำ
ทีนี้เวลาพูดถึงคุณภาพของลายเส้น อยากให้คิดเป็น 2 แบบหลักๆคือ
1. Unity - ความสามัคคีกันเป็นหนึ่งเดียวกัน
2. Variety - ความหลากหลาย
*สองอย่างนี้ดูจะขัดแย้งกันแต่มันขาดกันไม่ได้ *
ความสามัคคีเป็นหนึ่งเดียวกันคือทักษะการบริหารเอาหลายๆสิ่งเข้ามาอยู่รวมกันได้อย่างมีเอกภาพ แต่ก็จะไร้ชีวิตชีวาหากขาดความหลากหลาย
ยกตัวอย่างของภาษาของความสามัคคีก็คือ เส้นที่มีความซ้ำๆ เส้นที่เว้นเท่ากันหมด เส้นตรง วงกลม เส้นขนาน เป็นต้น
เส้นที่มี unity มากที่สุดจะเป็นอะไรอย่างอื่นไปไม่ได้นอกจากวงกลมและเส้นตรง
ยกตัวอย่างความหลากหลายของเส้นนั้นอาจจะง่ายกว่า มันก็คือความไม่เท่ากันในรูปทรงต่างๆไม่ว่าจะเป็นอะไรก็ตาม แต่ถ้าพูดถึงรูปทรงที่มีความหลากหลายที่สวยงามก็คงหนีไม่พ้นรูปไข่ ตัวอย่างที่ดีคือรูปทรงของใบหน้ารูปไข่งามๆ เพราะการเลี้ยวตัวของเส้นรอบไข่นั้นไม่มีความเหมือนกันเลยแม้แต่จุดเดียว ต่างจากวงกลมซึ่งเลี้ยวในจังหวะเท่ากันเป๊ะรอบวง
ในหนังสือมีการยกตัวอย่างยาวเหยียดมากๆในเรื่อง unity และ variety แต่ขอยกแค่บทเดียวมาพูด
แล้วจังหวะแบบไหนหละถึงงาม
พูดตรงๆว่าเรื่องนี้ไม่มีกฎตายตัว สิ่งที่หนังสือเอามายกตัวอย่างนั้นก็เป็นเพียงแค่ตัวอย่างที่นึกตามได้ง่ายและมีให้เห็นในธรรมชาติ
หน้าคน
ผู้อ่านลองนึกถึงใบหน้าคนที่ดูดี มันจะมีการจัดวางที่มี 2 หลักการนี้ผสมเข้าด้วยกันทั้ง unity และ variety
ใบหน้าของคนเรานั้นจะมีความเท่ากันเป็นสมมาตรของซ้ายและขวา ผนวกกับระยะห่างของการจัดวางนั้นก็ดูมีระเบียบเท่าๆกันแต่รูปด้านprofile ของใบหน้านั้นจะมีความหลากหลายอยู่มาก มีการยึกยือไปมาของเส้นที่เลี้ยวเข้าออกแบบไม่มีอะไรเท่ากันเลยก็ว่าได้
นี่คือตัวอย่างของการทำงานร่วมกันอย่างลงตัวของ unity ความสามัคคีและ variety ความหลากหลาย
นึกเล่นๆดูว่าหากหน้าเรามีความหลากหลายมากเกินไปก็คงจะไม่น่ามองสักเท่าไหร่ อาจจะน่ากลัวด้วยซ้ำ
สรุปคือ
ความหลากหลายแบบไร้ขอบเขตนั้นก็ทำให้เกิดความยุ่งเหยิงและไม่น่ามอง แต่ความนิ่งเกินไปแบบเส้นตรงนิ่งๆก็ช่างน่าเบื่อไร้ชีวิตชีวา
ฉะนั้นจะสังเกตได้ว่าความงามมักจะเกิดเมื่อความหลากหลายนั้นอยู่ภายใต้กฏเกณฑ์ของความสามัคคี

Trying to find a natural relationship between shapes, colors, patterns and weight to create ' rhythm ' in the photo is the artist's work. You shouldn't lose this effort, even if you're obsessed with Fine and Real Detail.
A can't translate picture is no different than a boring music.
Line and mass

【Materials】
· Metal Ring Parts Pattern Line Round 40 mm
· Metal Ring Parts Pattern Line Round 30 mm
· Metal Ring Parts Pattern Line Round 20 mm
· Design Round Twisted Jump Ring 8mm
· Earring parts
· Pincers
【Steps】
1. Pass 30 mm ring part and a 20 mm ring part through 8mm round jump ring
2. Pass both 30 mm and 20 mm parts through another 8 mm round jump ring
3. Pass the 40mm ring part and the 30mm ring part through a third round jump ring
4. Connect 3 and jump ring with 30 mm and 20 mm ring parts with another with 40mm and 30 mm ring parts
5. On opposite side of 4, connect 40mm and 30mm ring parts with jump ring
6. Collect all 5 jump rings and connect 6th jump ring to just 40mm ring parts at the end
7. Connect jump rings attached in step 5 and 6 with 7th jump ring
8. Put the 8th round jump ring on the last attached one, and connect earring parts.
Completion!

3. 3つ目の丸カン8mmにリングパーツ40mmとリングパーツ30mmを通す
4. 3と、リングパーツ30mmとリングパーツ20mmをつないだ丸カンをはさん
で、もう1つのリングパーツ40mmとリングパーツ30mmを丸カン8mmでつ
なぐ
5. 4の反対側にも同じようにリングパーツ40mmとリングパーツ30mmを丸カ
ン8mmでつなぐ
6. 5つの丸カン8mmを一箇所にあつめ、両サイドのリングパーツ40mmだけに
6つ目の丸カン8mmをつなぐ
7. 5,6でつけた丸カン8mm2つ両方を7つ目の丸カン8mmでつなげる
8. 7でつけた丸カン8mmに8つ目の丸カン8mmをつけ、ピアスパーツも通して
